find me a secure locker
somewhere at the bottom of the sea
somewhere no one can find out
what you did to me
somewhere I can hide the hurt
a place darker than dark
that will swallow the truth
and give me a new start

Running, dashing, sprinting towards the finish. The prize in sight was almost close enough to taste! Just a little further his hand reached out and…then the last slice of pie was claimed from right in front of him leaving him pining and sulking as he watched it disappear. Defeated again!

The quiet clicking of wood hitting the bowl filled the silence of the dining room as they stared at the cooling noddles in front of themselves. They hadn’t spoken about last night yet, but each could feel that it was coming.

she falls and it is all he sees.
she falls and the world tips from beneath him once more.
he’s seen this scene before, he’s played this part. the cirle had shown him before how easily heroes fall. and kirkwall, oh kirkwall.
and here he is, watching the fire around her. and in all his life, in all the death, he’s never seen such a disaster.

Grief is a stage of denial. If grief wasn’t there, what would be? Sadness with no name? What is grief? Well it’s hard to explain.

Sometime is a word that people use when they don’t know when to do something or see someone. It is a vague word people use often. “We should meet up sometime.” It is how to plan without planning.

I was serious when I decided to learn to swim. I had discovered when halfway across a deepish waterhole with my 6 month old baby in my arms, that my strange crawl- like swimming style, was not going to keep us afloat. It was pretty scary – and yes, serious.

When will it be enough to run the ragged breaths from my folds and offer up?
What are the limits, what are the ends I will go to?
I will give anything, anything
But nothing ..will… be.. enough

rough rigidity and rigid shoots of darkness, connecting one side to others, holding together the sides

I used to write about puppies a lot when I was younger. Usually named Crystal and best friends with a kitten called Rosie. They always went on great adventures, exploring the forest and running across faeries.

It was that deep and biting cold. It seeped into the bones and made your lungs protest as they burned. You lay there looking up at the stars for eternity and the cold reigns completely.

Wistful, nothing but joy and perfection. The girl felt wistful as she walked through the fields with her boyfriend, who she wasn’t even supposed to be with. But she shook her head, the feeling of bliss wouldn’t stop. She needed him, she craved him, she loved him. Wistful, was the only word to describe her feelings.

I once had a collection. Actually I lied I never had a collection. Actually that’s a lie too, I have a collection. A collection of books. I’ve collected books since I was little, and I’ve read them since then too. Actually, my parents read to me until I was able to read. They helped my love for reading a great deal, because every night before bed I’d get a story, and ever since I could read I’ve read more books in a week than most people I know.

Barren… flat fields, empty wombs, despair. Terrible waste. Sadness and furniture.

people use leverage every day to get what they want from people and I don’t like it. People think it’s ok to hold something over someone and it’s not. it’s wrong. Just because you know something about someone doesn’t mean you should hold it over their heads. You don’t have leverage over them just because they told you something. They trusted you with it.

I wasn’t scared when the tornado hit. Indeed, I was enthralled and a sense of euphoria washed over me as the curious phenomenon raged over my town. Some described my reaction of laughing during the storm as malicious and evil, but I prefer to think of it as telling the Earth that it could never frighten me. Alas, that would would soon be untrue, for the Earth brings forth life and takes it away, and when it took away my brother, it frightened me to think that one day it would take me too.

The tornado was sweeping throughout my town, causing roofs to blow off houses and get enveloped in the rage of this curious phenomenon. It was like a dream to me, but to others, a nightmare. I laughed.

A person responsible for making it happen, keeping it moving, sharing ideas,. NOT the person IN CHARGE!

Every time you think of now, your a second late. Time keeps going. Like s backwards bomb. Ticking and ticking away. Now is gone. It may sounds presently, but it’s really something in the pass. The nearest of all passes. And yet, everytime it’s stated how fast do you think now, isn’t now? And that’s the beauty of time. The bomb doesn’t explode until now us your now.

Are you available? Sometimes, I feel like my heart isn’t. It’s painful, sometimes, but it’s something we have to deal with. My heart isn’t available because it’s mending. Broken by someone who didn’t know what he was doing. I still treat him as a friend, but that’s my cross to bear.

I don’t like being late. If I think I am going to be late then I will power walk until it is assured that I will not be. This doesn’t make sense to anyone in my life because I am from Vermont, so people assume I have a laid back disposition. But that isn’t the case. I even powerwalk in Vermont, pushing over tall grass and trees to assure that I am not late.

maybe they arent.

Time is spoken of in riddles;
we can kill it, and lose it,
but how can we really have spent any time,
it is not a monetary value, although it is man-made,
and the more time we waste thinking we have spent it at all,
is more time lost if time can be lost how do we find it again?

i am alive, it is a curse and a blessing in itself. what to do when you’re alive? most people wish for wealth, health or death, how charming it is to be alive at all in a time like this.

An event. A trigger in space and time. Something that can change the world. Well, what would the world be without these things? Nothing would happen. Everything is an event. Life is just a collection of events. What they are is up to us.

Cora stared at the book her had given her, her expression painfully blank. She loved him. The words rang through her head over and over again.
Maybe this was what it felt like: heartbreak.

buildings are built. People major in architecture. The word is purple. It’s a very nice shade of purple too. I like older buildings better than newer ones. But some modern architecture is very lovely as well. But things like the sistine (SPELLING?) chapel? man, those are amazing buildings.
