This divorce is coming late. It should have come in fourth grade. I’m in eleventh grade. And for some reason, it still hurts. I’d like to avoid the situation. Happy thanksgiving from the family? Whatever.

I have civilized myself; I did that already. I am socially acceptable to others, I know. Now I am working on actually bring myself and I find this to be a far greater challenge.

She was drowning and he was using cliche metaphors to describe her depression because he had no idea what else to do. He wrote and wrote and wrote and she still cried. He said she drowned in her own tears.

I hate the word fresh. It reminds me of Coca Cola commercials. I don’t drink soda, so the idea of Coca Cola is gross to me. Fresh. Isn’t there a store called Joe Fresh or something? When I think of the word fresh, I also think about the time Chris came to Austin and I accidentally took him to a vegetarian restaurant. I miss Chris. He’s my best friend. I hope he doesn’t forget my birthday.

At the library, she quietly waits for him. She’s reading but she’s not. She’s trying not to check the clock, but she is. “Where could he be? ” she imagines…..Finally, she gets up. She gives up hope and then she notices his bright teeth, shining and smiling. The old man finally delivers the book she has been waiting for. She is glad.

my shirt has a collar which often flips up. I don’t know how i feel about collared shirts. They make me feel somewhat trapped and uncomfortable.

i wrote a check it was my lifeline , my last one. i had no choice this was over . it all began and ended with a check it now its finished. it will be thrown away by the big man behind the chair who somehow isn’t so tall anymore.
