A shape that has a fixed position in space or on a plane of space. A design or a verb that is used to describe a design. A mathematical description. Something that is used in creation. A way of talking about the earth as it refers to its shape and location.

It was coming towards me. No, they were. The things were heavy footed and I couldn’t see what it was until the mass came over the hill. Still, I couldn’t quite make it out. I could make sort of guesses, of course, but until they were actually on top of me I didn’t know for sure. All I knew was that they were loud, heavy, and there were so many of them.

The cafe was a small one, nestled between the outboard motor shop and the local cobbler. It was one of those places one only sees in small towns.

Wheat. Wheat is in my bread; often lacking. Whole wheat. Why must it be in its entirety, why not half wheat or one fourth of wheat.

wheat is in my bread. Often lacking. Whole wheat. Why must it be necessary for all of the wheat to be present, why not one half or one fourth of wheat. The obsession with whole wheat is derived from this obscured impression of healthy living equaling a healthy soul.

She destroyed everything about me that I liked. Everything that had made me, and everything that I had made – undone.

I didn’t like the feeling. It was like a surgeon had sliced me up and pulled out my insides. It was like a firefighter had taken one look at me and decided I was the fire. It was like being torn up, like I was being erased…

I had to get revenge, didn’t I?

Sweeping through the deathly hollows of the Forrest, the owl rode the streamy night air. It had the grace of a ballerina with the fierce nature of a tiger. He was the master of the night. Peering through the branches of the forest, I watched this creature of silence.

I always feel like crying when I think about what has happened in my life to upset me. My mom, parents, family, friends, boyfriends. It all just gets to you after a while, tears down upon you and makes you feel worthless. But then, once you’ve cried it all out, you can feel ten times better than you did before crying. Crying is what releases the soul.

Under the tree, there was a tunnel. Follow the tunnel long enough, and it would soon get very hot. Yes, you guessed correct. Hell. Hell, or Under.
Under is frozen these days, and the tunnel has carved in.

Local is something that is close to you. If something is local, that means that you can reach it without much difficulty. Erm, that’s just about it.

Soon, soon, soon.I know my son will be home soon. He’s only four hours past his curfew. Soon, soon, soon. He has to be okay. He has to be here soon. He is my life. He has to be safe.

i am a square peg being forced into a round hole. I know it’s usually the other way around, but I’ve always been a little different. I like things to be straightforward and to make sense, but the rest of the world acts like I need to be different from everyone else in order to be successful. I’m exceptionally glad I’ve reached a point in my life where I don’t care what kind of peg I am. I do what I want, when I want and screw everyone else.

Mrs. Williams, my science teacher teaching me and a bunch of classmates using fun and interactive games, plus showing us interesting things like frog dissections, and preserved animals which were really stinky. Lollipops, Mrs. Williams who taught us how to do CPR, and other science in which we kept journals with the, what, marbled covers? Plus the weird rainbow science books.

The lemonade was sweet and cold on the hot summer day. The glass the Susan held dripped in her damp palms and she wiped her sweating face. It was Mississippi, 1938. 14-year-old Susan’s life was about to start.
“Get inside, Susan!” her mother screamed.
So much for that thought, Susan sighed inwardly.
