We rallied the student troops, we rallied their singing hearts under the banner of justice, flaunted their wide eyes and believing stares before the state. We rallied their parents and friends, gathering them together like collectors knick-knacks. We rallied our egos, our restlessness, our foolhardiness but we didn’t rally our consciences. I spent the rest of the day limping across my classroom and wondering what people would think when they saw that. Happy Monday.

I will suceed in life by following the examples of heroes in the world, mainly Anna Esch, Makenzie Miller, and Kelsie Leslie. They, as sophomores who are interested in writing, are an inspiration to me. THey are my muses, my divas, my heroes. I aspire to be them.

The violent bear mauled the child across the face. It was very sad. I cried. Mom cried. Dad cried. Bobby laughed but Bobby is a jerk.
