wet

Wet. You get in the water.
“Get in the water now!”
“I’m sorry, baby. Get in the water please?”
It just reminded me of that. Wet. Water. Beaches. Salty hair.

claim

I CLAIM HIM. I know. That’s selfish. But to me, whichever other girl who talks to him or starts to like him is a competitor. Even though I know I’d never win, I claim him, in my heart. Cheesy as it sounds, I do. He’s mine. I claim him.

Do you ever claim someone as your own without permission?

blindness

I cannot ever imagine being blind. Having to live with blindness for the rest of your life must be a horrible thing to do. I depend on my eyes for everything. Blindness may not always mean being physically blind. It may also mean oblivion. You can be blind to certain things, selective sight. You choose to put that thing aside and forget about it.

binding

Binding people together. You get to know someone. Intertwine with someone. You bind books. You go to the shop and bind pieces of paper together. People in China used to foot bind as a tradition. You bind by love. It’s like coming together/sticking with another.
Bind? Nothing else.

spa

Spa – a place for relaxation. I have personally never been to one but when the word “spa” comes to mind, I think of a place with wooden Ikea-like furniture, steamed rooms, big round bathtubs and jacuzzis filled with floating flower petals, the smell of lavender pungent in my nose, people getting massages from women in buns, all in all, a peaceful surrounding for anyone who has had a long day.

headphones

I always wear headphones. Well not really headphones. More like earphones. I cannot go anywhere without music. On the bus, on the train, or walking home. I’m there with my music plugged in. It gives me a sense of security. Not being able to hear anything other than my music makes me feel good. It’s like, being in my own world. Headphones. Headphones. I like earphones. Let’s say this was about earphones. I like earphones.

flex

He always wore those FBT singlets. I remember, they were navy blue. They showed off his arm muscles, biceps, were they called? He always used to tease me about how strong he was and he’d flex his arms right in front of my face to disturb me. It didn’t bother me, though. I was used to it. I liked him being himself around me. It was like he could trust me. Flexing his muscles, who knew? I didn’t think I’d remember this until I started typing. I miss him. Well, the old him at least. The old him who’d wear FBTs and a pair of basketball shorts and the old him who’d text me everyday to ask me out to dinner.
