Celebrities are adorned. Children, parents, friends are adorned. But will anybody ever “adorn” us? Can we “adorn” ourselves? Magazines, tv, books… they celebrate the celebrated.

Can I just mention that i’m working on a Sunday with a group of dudes listening to Jay-Z. They are throwing up the gang signs making me laugh. Popping and locking talking about their youth. Silly boys make me giggle. It’s a hard knock life!

I look to the left, and then to the right. Who’s looking? No one’s looking. I walk up to the clerk, restocking the shelves, and I ask, “Sir, may I ask you a question?”
He looks down at me.
Having grabbed his attention, I, then, proceed to ask, “Will you go out with me?” I can feel my face reddening.

Mrs. Barnswell gave them all the instructions, but for some reason Jimi’s were different from all the others. He was instructed to stand out; to be himself. If the teacher would have given those instructions to the the rest of the class, that year would have went smoother. better. not as full of pain.

The suspects just stander there; their expressions blank. They had no idea what to say. They had no idea what to do, except keep quiet. Thats why they were suspicious, their lips were sealed. Maybe if they opened them and told the truth, this nightmare would be over.

People who are accused of committing a crime. Sometimes they didn’t even participate in the act, they just appear guilty. The police create a list of the suspicious. They’re the ones on top.

in a minute what can happen? Anything. You can do anything. You can be anyone. You can see any event. Anything is possible. But it is so fleeting. You will never have enough of them. You’ll always want another. If you don’t then the minute passes too slowly. Too bad….

She looked at the feast set before her, eyeing the exquisite chocolate cake in the middle, but this wasn’t meant for her, she was just to watch.

Amy looked at the sticky oozing orange stuff that was on her desk. How could such and tiny thing leave this much goo? She had tried scrubbing the residue off to no avail.

She slammed it shut. Why in the world did she even open in the first place. She was warned, and yet curiosity got better of her. Ryan looked at her expectantly and she shook her head.

I was tired, dehydrated and irritated. The blasted engine had taken all day and when I had thought I fixed it the first time it decided to comp out on me again. So here I am on the side of the road with my broken down car and a dead cell, how could today get any worse?

Although the ratings for the show went down the writers continued to hope that the show would succeed in some way not to be canceled.

The children lined up, ready to go on stage the audience waited with anticipation. Everything was ready to go just as planed. This was going to be the best damn Best Christmas Pageant Ever production the school had ever done.

We lit the torch before we went down the steps. Not knowing what to expect Killa took out her dagger and took point in front of me as we went down the stairs.

“You know this isn’t going to end well?”
“Yeah, but there’s nothing I can do about it.”
“What about a petition?”
“Maggie I love you, erm, where do we start?”

She watched as he walked out of their door – no not their door – as he walked out of her door. As it closed all her love, all her belief that he was a inherently good evaporated like fog.

We were recycled and brought back to life. Our bodies were different, but our minds were still intact. How could they do this to us. And why the hell am I asking you it’s not as if you ever answer back – stupid fourth wall I can break you, but you can’t answer back.

This was her first time doing this. She had made many gourmet meals in the past it’s just this was her chance. She had gotten the order and she was to follow through. One gourmet meal with almonds and a hint of extra almond taste, damn them to hell if they wanted to stop this revolution.

I’ve never had a truly gourmet meal – at least in the sense of going out to a fancy restaurant. The best gourmet meal comes from knowing exactly what you put into it and what you did to it so you can replicate it later.

Oh, I’ve done this already I’ve done it several times before, but every time it happens there is this overwhelming sadness in my stomach and it makes me want to cry, how oh how could you ever say goodbye?

flowers bloom from stems that will soon turn into beautiful flowers that many people will look at and marvel at all because of one stem. Stems are the roots to life; family stems, stems to words and flowers.

You wear it like an old worn out leather jacket, like it proves you are worth something, that you are some mystery, that you deserve my attention. i see no depth, nothing beyond the illusion you create beyond that smug smile, empty.

Warm winter nights
Snowmen standing guard
Hot chocolate held tight
red runny noses
Endearing instead
of the usual Gross
Mommy and Daddy stealing
kisses under
the mistletoe

Rays of
Today is
Hold on to the
Warm caress
On bare shoulders
Green grass
And sweet dandelions

He was a waiter. He stood around. He sat around. He waited for life to come to him. He blamed life for opportunities that never did come..

One in the afternoon, that’s when I woke up today. Far from early. Far far from early.
And look at me, staying up late tonight, despite my need to get up early tomorrow.
Not that it will make a difference what time I go to bed.
It never does.
Today I thought I was walking through a swarm of mosquitoes. There was nothing there.

The best way to pass time, distraction. I didn’t realise I only ate once today because I was distracted playing a videogame. How wonderful, I should suggest this idea to Dr. Atkins.

seeing that word at once evokes some memory in me, though I have no idea what of…maybe a piece of a song, gosh my power of recollection have diminished.

Oh how I miss the penny. That little rhyme about seeing a penny, picking it up, all that day you’ll get good luck. I remember when our currency changed and I wondered if I’d still get luck for picking up a cent. I still don’t know.

Floppy useless sketchbooks. Maybe useless is harsh, but not half as useful as hardbacks. They’re so robust and sturdy and beautiful and… oh so very expensive….
