Sloane sighed. She had always felt trapped in Algebra class, but today more than ever. The teacher stood at the head of the classroom, gabbing away as Sloane glanced over the worksheet.
…Intercepts? Formulas, slopes, points… what?
Her parents were right, weren’t they? She was just an idiot. Too stupid to get math. Sloane shoved the paper deep into her binder and began counting down the minutes until she could leave this prison.

I didn’t know what to do. He was walking this way and I was trying to catch him but it was just so hard to get to him in the thick mass of crowds that were surrounded us. I knew I had to reach him, I had to let him know that every single he had heard about me was wrong, but it seemed like the earth just would not let me complete my task. At last I was able to find my voice again, and I heard myself scream out his name. His steps stuttered and he seemed almost as if he wanted to stop, but then he kept moving.

Wrath is extreme anger. It is especially associated with anger over something another has done. For instance, if someone injures a member of someone else’s family, he or she may fact the wrath of the wronged family member.

I think i want another word. I dont think credibility is enough of a word to spark me off. I’d rather be concerned with trust as a way of relating rather than credibility as a state of being.

To draw is the expression of the soul. Freedom in an age where it has become a rare thing. The final frontier in an overused and abused world. True art and emotion all begin this way; just let go and draw.

The solution is what you need when you have a problem. Sounds simple, is difficult, How can such a small sober word express so much difficulty for most people? It’s not like we just scream Heuraka, leave the bathtub and it’s done.

what about these gold chains. i want hundreds of kilos of them. use them for making bridge across rivers. have pay for schools, planting trees. making watering holes for animals. do not want these chains to hold anybody hostage. use these chains for the good of humanity. Break bad chains. use them for supporting weaker ones. use them for reinforcement.

With this word, a picture of glowing beautiful girl came in my mind. With skin so radiant that seems as if it is glowing. I always wanted to have glowing skin but i don’t. Sigh

There was a gargoyle in the middle of Spreckles theater with a golden bandana sticking out of his gnarled teeth. It wasn’t particularly shiny, but not that type of yellow you’d see in a banana either; but this bandana was particularly regal in appearance, particularly evocative – when one would touch it, a sudden warmth flooded the palm, and spoke of richness and childhood, of aches and relations, of quiet and shrieks of delight.

I have an audience. Perhaps that’s not such a good idea, considering I have no idea what to write. I’m not afraid, though. I can get up on stage in front of people and it doesn’t bother me. I do, however, become self conscious when I am presenting a work of mine such as a piece of writing or art. Good thing I don’t have to do that often. I could, if I chose to, but nothing I write seems to be good enough lately. I’ve lost my enthusiasm for the most part. Freewriting is interesting, that you can start writing so much just about one word. Incredible. Maybe this will help out with my midterm. Audience. I will have no audience for this midterm but I will have my class as an audience for our project the month after. What a surprise. My father is watching an old soccer game. They certainly have an audience. I can’t wait until the Euro cup 2012. I suppose that if I wanted to write for an audience, I would have to motivate myself to write something that would prove interesting to people. Perhaps one day, if I have enough time and energy as I used to. I just wish I could finish my midterm this fast. My knitting website has an audience. Does it really? I have maybe one visitor a day. I should make more things then. Hats scarves anything. Once I’m done with all my work, I will go for that. I will increase my audience. And I will be a star.

How you approach things, people, life is very important. Our attitudes, in fact, are probably the biggest deciding factor between a life of happiness or misery. How would I like to approach things? From a spiritual perspective, as if everything came from God–that loving, vast, beautiful, awareness that gives life and freedom–including me and you.

Many people mistake shape for form. Shape is two-dimensional; form is three-dimensional. Of course, our language doesn’t help with the differentiation…Shape magazine, getting in shape, etc…Shapes (the circle, square, triangle, oval, etc) are beautiful, but form is divine.

If you want. To make a statement. You have to be confident about what you’re saying. You need to have faith. Believe in your message. Be grounded. Be strong. Be natural. Be you. Do it.

“Final” arouses both trepidation/fear and excitement in me. As a perceiver (rather than a judgement-oriented person, on the Myers-Briggs personality test) I am more comfortable exploring options and being on the front end of a decision, rather than having that immutable feeling of something finalized, but then again there is that anticipatory excitement of knowing, for example, that it’s the final days of school before vacation, or the last final I have to study for, or the finals in an exciting competition on TV.

The basics aren’t always all that interesting, although they’re good to know, but follow “basic” even further, deep into its roots, and you get “essence”. I’m much more interested in the essence of things, the unique spark in everyone that makes them light up in flames when identified and stoked, the inner nature of things that transfers and regenerates itself through the little seed, the boiled-down, pared-down, pure truth, as well as we can perceive it.

I like noticing and reflecting on the ways people choose their keychains and what that shows about them. Right now, my keys are all linked together and attached to a short (3 foot) tape measure I got at Home Depot. It reminds me that I am, first and foremost, a sculptor (and an artist). I am always ready to measure a space for an installation, or plan a next ceramic project.
