I often feel like I’m in drag when I wear a dress, especially if I have to wear hose. Although I haven’t had to do so in a very long time, I am not sure I even own hose. As I get older, I notice this feeling is less and I am more open to wearing dresses, probably it’s a middle aged thing.

I was never so relieved as after we had the custody meeting with the mediator. I was so incredibly scared. I was afraid that John would embarrass me, harrass me, take my kid away. It was unbelievable how well it went. Surely the other shoe will drop soon.

It was fast. It hurt a lot. You left me, and got me replaced, like nothing ever mattered. Like we were nothing at all. It never went away, and it seemed like love went with pain.

Fatigue is a work that’s described as being tired. It’s when the world asks a lot of you. It is when you have given everything you can to a cause, to work, to family, to church, and now you just want the world to slow down a little bit. You are tired; you are exhausted. You just want to sit for a while.

somebody. Somebody was tapping on her window. It was a man with dark hair. Facial hair too. He smiled. His front teeth had a gap between them. “Anne! Anne, it’s me” somebody exclaimed, with somewhat of a lisp. She looked through the window. She smiled.

somebody was tapping on her screen. It was a man. He was tall. He had dark hair. Facial hair too, she could remember. His front teeth were separated by a gap and he had a lisp. “Anne, anne!” somebody cried urgently. She looked through the screen.

nights filled with wine. viewing the city skyline on a rooftop. proposals. never-ending fairytales. kisses goodnight. kisses good morning. never saying, “goodbye.” holding onto the notion that love will last forever. always treating your princess right.

Typically describes something brought up in a home; maybe a cat, maybe a child. Who knows. But I like to think of it as something a little different: curved. Reformed. Much like the definition, but much different as well…

It was curious how he walked into the store, drenched in rain. He was wearing one of those mysterious long gray drench coats, you know the type, like the one Audrey Hepburn wore in Breakfast at Tiffanys.

there is absolutely nothing worse than being forgotten. to be left alone, tossed aside and just completely, wholly forgotten. it is the epitome of loneliness.

She walked into the room and I looked up form my seat in the back corner of the classroom. I couldn’t help but glance up when she came in, because the room just seemed a little bit brighter. As I looked at her, I realized it was because she was glowing.

there is water in the desert — but there is obviously the thirst i feel when i first wake up, when all i want to do is get up and cross the crackly hardwood of my boyfriend’s apartment and brush my teeth, get the night dry air out of my mouth and start the day — but to do that i have to erase the night, and the weird fitful way i moved towards then away from him, the way i saw his back like a mountain range…

I remember the halls, the campus, the faces, the smells. The feeling and being part of, then I am only a memory. The experience of being there

books in a library are a very important part of history, and the world in general. It is only through books that we can fully trace conversations, wars etc. that have happened in history. Book are also used as vehicles for the upmost of deep thought and exploration of the human emotion.

To hold back information.
Can be considered a lie.
Someone may withhold information if it is a secret.
To keep to yourself.
