I’ve always wanted to tour Europe. It’s not like I need to go everywhre, but just the overriding freedom of touring Europe with no kids, drinking and eating, sleeping whenever. All of that sounds so fabulous. I want to go to London. Paris. I think Rome. Maybe Athens. Is Athens still a place? I just want to see all the historical sites and say, “Hey, I’ve been there.” And I want Aaron with me.

Life is funny like a bunny. the sun is sunny. the moon is moody. don’t be sad, be glad.

As I go through crowds, I weave in and out of people. Each person unique, living their own lives, going their own places, having their own thoughts wander endlessly through their minds. Each equally significant or insignificant, depending on scale.

I watched the campfire burn in the reflection of his eyes. It was like a mirror but it had more sparkles in them. It looked like the free was coming from within his soul and that only drew me to him more. It was like a drug and i was addicted.

Magnolia is a bland color. She had her walls painted this colour, every single wall in her house. It reflected the young ladies personality. Bland. Boring. Nothing.

Magnolia is a base colour in a lot of homes in this area. It is a subtle yellow cream colour that can be put with anything. It may be plain on its own but paired

The elm tree sat at the top of the hill, surrounded by evergreen trees. Clouds hung thick in the air, looming in the dark grey sky. They seemed like a warning to the girl who sat against the lonely elm. Tears running down her crimson cheeks.

He stalked back and forth in front of his desk. He knew he could do it on a normal day, but today wasn’t a normal day. The glossy mahogany stared at him while he scratched his wrinkled forehead and thought about how he could make it work.

Sublime is an interesting word because it makes me think about a subject that is almost the exact opposite of its definition. I think of slugs or jello-like substances. Usually of the green colour and in sewers.

The moments in which we stand, watching people and things, but never really seeing them are the moments we never really recognize ourselves because we’re too busy not noticing anything else.

Life is unfolding in an unusual way. Rather than moving from good to bad and then from bad to good, it is keeping in a consistent pattern of starting and continuing in a progressively worse manner.

I was once brave enough to face the force of a thousand dragons and be the hero in the story, except my dragons were not dragons rather they were demons in myself that I could just not hone in on my own but I managed to do it. I managed to be brave enough to face my dragons.

Nobody is really educated. You might think you are, but education is a flawed concept. You can know a lot of things academically and not know things street wise. You can never truly be educated because no one person knows everything. You need different forms of education depending on your environment.

I consider myself one of the most educated people in my class. I have never failed a lesson or even been absent from a class. There are few as smart as me and I intend to keep it that way.

A toaster is a thing that we use, to make our beard more cruncher, and more fun to eat, it’s no tony for Beard, but for other things like pop tarts, and many things that we eat everyday

The first thought is of the physical.
The aching joints,
The rotting bones.
But maybe it stands for something spiritiual, too.
Maybe there’s an arthritis
That causes an aching in your heart,
And a rotting in your mind.
An empty crevasse in your insides,
A deep pit in your soul.
Maybe this diagnosis of arthritis
Has several causes.
Maybe another person can bring it.
Maybe a memory.
Maybe this arthritis
Is even scarier
Than rotting bones.

I want more photos.

I thought about how it had all been a montage of the haze in the afternoons and the heat of the sun on the pavement, and the summer had sort of faded into these blurred images of things that I couldn’t remember happening.

The collage was hung on her wall haphazardly, with the tacks you can get for ninety-nine cents at the grocery store. It was all pictures of the summer before–the four of us, wild-eyed and drunk with life and summer.

Yellow sign for bowling in my white dress shirt with the girl next to me in a bright red pick up truck.

delve into the sea under the blue waves beneath the bubbles and past all the noise of everyday life. delve into the deep blue that is the deep and lose yourself in its vastness, its simpleness and yet its complexity

My heart. He doesn’t even know. I want to tell him that he’s torn it. It’s shattered. But what can he do about it? Why should he care? He owes me nothing. We’ve nothing special together. It’s all in my head and that’s where it’ll stay.

Eternal. What is more incomprehensible? More foreign? But it’s inside of us, how else would we come up with ideas about the Fountain of Youth? Love that lasts forever? Life after death? That’s the beauty of words like ‘eternal.’ You don’t understand them, but in your heart, you know them.
