loud animal sounds
a time much younger
and the deep blue
breathing of the sky,
the sleeper in the hay,
mother out in the field
our oat growing wild,
hair in my face so black
like vines, matted, we
to the sound of it
the roar of the wind
the tractor screaming
blue pond gleaming
our pain just below
the surface.

I made that ornament when I was a child… and I guess that’s why I focused on it so singularly…. I could recognize it even as it was scattered and shattered into pieces…. I stared at it while they moved over and into and around me. I didn’t see anything but those shattered pieces because they felt like me.

He was marked, from the moment he entered and he didn’t even realize it. This would be his last trip to the carnival.

That’s exactly what I’m feeling right now. I think about every time that I can remember her telling me she loves me. It makes my heart hurt but it’s a good hurt at the same time.. I know I have to let her go because we’re not right for each other but I love her… :( She’s my everything. I guess if you love something or someone, you gotta let it go. Only then can it truly be free.

Quilted Northern was the first thought to spring to my mind, and I wondered what that said about me. I thought vaguely that Quilted Northern had been a toilet paper company and probably still was, with commercials on back in the day. I hadn’t seen one of those in a while and I realized as I wrote about this, that I wasn’t a very good writer. Then again who could write about a possibly failed toilet paper company for this long? Probably anyone. Hmm.

The specifics aren’t known as of yet, but downtown Wheresville has been rocked by what appears to be a series of massive explosions and the resultant fires, as you can see behind me here Brooke… Appalling…

I often find people on the left to be reaching in their leap into politics before the DEAD CHILDREN are even in the GROUND YET… Parents are burying their children. Brothers or sisters are burying their siblings… Kids are burying their parents… Shit, I hate today.

The coffeehouse is what we used to call the old shack we found in the woods. The first night we stumbled across the old, rundown building.. we’d found the coffee grounds scattered across the porch and the doorstep… scattered among the bones.

To stalk is to have a prey in mind. A subject to obsess over. Something you aren’t hunting, something you’ve already found.. and are savoring the game now first..

I don’t want to wake up in a hospital. I don’t want to step foot in one ever again. They don’t scare me, they just… repel me. I find them repellent, yes I would say so. They’re a place of stark human suffering, of death, of contagion, of sickness and… it’s the opposite of health and life and comfort and a bright future. Hmm.

Maybe ghosts are just the memories of those are who no longer here in the flesh. “You only truly die for the final time when someone speaks your name for the last time,” and all of that… Ignore me, I’m just really stoned right now. Excuse me while I get even more stoned… And play EA UFC 2.

The pills went down easily like water,

It was scary and free to feel the choice taken from me…

No turning back, fate’s in the hands of fate, too late to

Stingrays scare the BEJEESUS outta me. Not just because they skewered the Crocodile Hunter although that’s horrifically sad and ironic. She’s a beauty, Steve; she’ll break ya heart though mate… I don’t know where I was going with this and this… this little blue timer is.. distracting and entrancing me……… Woahhh….’sth

The lessons we learn, as the stormy seas they do churn,
over mountainous waves we shall roll…

» Posted By Lee On 01.27.2018 @ 6:22 pm

The lessons that we learn are only as great and as knowledge-rich as our mistakes are miserable and seemingly senseless. You need only to learn from your mistakes to live the life which you feel drawn to living. That feeling isn’t there for nothing. It comes within you. Always listen to what comes from within you.

The hand which clamped down on her wrist was cold and slimy but horribly tight, horribly strong in its grip. It pulled her slowly closer no matter how she fought and – towards the end – bit. Closer to the black mouth of the hole. “Fleshhhhhhhhh,” the voice rasped.

Paradise is easily found and bitterly lost. Paradise is temptation. Paradise lies within less than a day’s stroll and at no immediate cost. Paradise is instant gratification…

“Execute Order 66,” the voice – crackly from lightyears of interference – croaked.

“Yes, sir,” I replied simply, my voice calm and clipped, toneless.

It was that simple. Right?

“I would.. luh-luh-luh-like to file a complaint to.. t-to the White Star Line,” the young man wheezed from the hospital wing of the Carpathia. He had bad hypothermia and had very nearly drowned but another lifeboat had managed to rescue him.

“What’s your name, sir?” the young woman asked and he smiled at her sadly and said, “Jack.. Jack Dawson..”

The reflection in the mirror didn’t move when he moved. The reflection in the mirror smiled while he cried. The reflection in the mirror was a stranger strangely strangling himself. The reflection in the mirror admired Its reflection as he died…

The gasoline burnt my eyes. I wasn’t sure whether I should try and scrub the cursed yet providential gas from my eyes.. IT’S BURNING MY FUCKING EYES OUT! OH GOD! PLEASE MAKE IT STOP! THE RAG IS SOAKED IN WATER AND IT STILL WILL NOT ASSUAGE THIS TORMENT! PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS….

» Posted By Lee On 12.28.2017 @ 11:58 pm

Gasoline smells funny.

» Posted By Lee On 12.28.2017 @ 9:09 pm

I always liked the smell of gasoline but that was before the fires. They say that you shouldn’t play with fire or you’ll get burned. They don’t tell you that you shouldn’t play with fire because your entire family, as well as eighteen others, might be burned, too… They don’t warn you, I guess because most people don’t need a warning.

Apparently I did..

The shapes float in front of my eyes and they mix in with her lies. And they glitter like her smile, all that glitters all the while is not what’s meant to be..

I’m not concerned when I see my opponent. I’ve always wanted to fight them, even though they’re intimidating physically and their skills as well.

» Posted By Lee On 12.08.2017 @ 1:10 pm

I guess this time I’m more content with the outcome, because can you really lost what you never had in the first place? I don’t think you really can. I don’t think I’ve really lost anything. I don’t think I really found anything either… I guess I just need to chalk it up as a mistake to be learned from. It’s just not as easy as that makes it sound…

The Major was lying not ten feet away with his entire ribcage blown apart; his eyes still retained a bit of life though and I could see his lips moving as he prayed. That won’t do you any good sir, I thought to myself bitterly as bullets zipped and snapped by overhead. I took a deep breath and then stood to run to another position.

Pokemon Yellow version was the shit when I was a kid. I remember it being really tough to pry myself away from that game; the only thing I can remember making me put down that GameBoy without a second thought was the prospect of a rockfight with some of the other neighbor kids. I miss being a kid; I miss it terribly.

I think that’s why films like IT and Stand By Me (two of my favorite films based off of two of my favorite books, both by Stephen King) resonate so deeply within me.

This guy with the username of Agent was harassing me just earlier. I wonder if he knows how much he contributed to my ultimate upcoming fate. Oh well. I guess it doesn’t really matter, does it? Kinda weird how the word for today was ‘agent’ though. It’s like a perfect storm of shitty day.
