I really don’t like fishing.
At least not nowadays,
my mind runs too fast for the flippant
drawn out days in a boat.
But maybe some day
I will relax
and have the chance
to finally enjoy some fishing.

Barreling through like there is nothing left
my bones ache,
weary from the weight of the world,
a stones throw away
I see salvation,
a hand reaching for me,
A glimmer of something more.
Now if only I,
can find the strength to cross to the shore

Cinnamon buns are baking in the oven. Fresh, hot, gooey pieces of sugary bread. Can’t wait to eat some for breakfast. Coffee and buns are my favourite way to start the day.

The garden patch out back was always visited by the local rabbits in search of sweet, crunchy carrots. The garden patch was a haven for myriads of insects, especially the beautiful butterflies.

I was so happy when Mark bought me my new Kindle Fire for Christmas. It is backlit unlike the original Kindle which required a bulky booklight attached to the cover. I love my Kindle Fire because now I can read in bed without the light on.

I am angry at myself. I shouldn’t write about him. I shouldn’t even think about him. He is a man old before his time- it is in his manners, his face, his way of speaking. I am an old tired heart. We could die together before we even started. But somehow he is alive, smiling, tempting, happy. And I am still an old tired heart made of worn pages and aching muscles. Why is he here when I want hkm? I need scorn, spurs, anything to drive me away. I am in love with another. But still I love, no matter the difference in the two phrases. Still I love. My love, my true love, is still. And so rises the serpent.

Also, and, in conjunction with, cake, chocolate, fat kid also loves carbs, can’t think of anything else, ah I suck at this, eternity, but, everything and more, infinity and one second, is time up already, umm, okay.

It’s stronger than you, just as it always has been. You promised me you’d fight back. All I want you to do is hold onto me instead, hold onto a world where your emotions don’t pull you under the branches of the willow tree on campus. They make love to you as if you are their oldest friend.

The roof covers me but I wouldn’t notice unless it were gone.

Simplicity is one of those things that I know I’d enjoy if I sunk in too deep. If I could bathe myself in simplicity, my brain would lose a dimension or two. Life would be simple simply if I wanted it to be simple. Simple as that.

Such a major word indeed, I know that sometimes people think how to know the best things in life are never quite free. Indeed I want to go to england, yes and to see the world. But why must you look at me in such a way I don’t quite understand. No, not at all. You are a joy to be with. You know that, you must. Such a magnificent word indeed.

This is a game that was frustrating to play with a 6 year-old. He didn’t really possess the patience required to get through the whole thing to find out who dunnit. Also, that was back when he only wanted to play if he won.

Gunfire exploding all around me in bright bursts. Soldiers in green drab, sweat dripping from brows. Canteens and slop in the mess-hall. Loud noise and scary silence. Pain. Death. Loss. Families crying for loved ones draped in a flag. Foreign voices speaking foreign languages in harsh tones. Politics. Money. Greed.

hiding from someone
like a tiger
in the brush
guilty or innocent?
shaking like a leaf
did he see her
preparing for an attack
what will I do?
Just keep hiding
This is the only way

We pushed, we shoved, we kicked, we punched. Anything and everything, nothing was out of bounds for us. A mass ball of people, filling the streets till there was no room to move or breathe. The huddle masses, together for the slaughter.
We knew we didn’t stand a chance.

I am terrified of thunder, its my only irrational fear. I think lightning it amazing and beautiful but thunder is what really gets under my skin ,makes my hair stand on end and makes me watch the windows in fear and dread every possible storm that heads my way.

Lighting is amazing because it shows us that something so beautiful and astonishing can also be so devastating. Watching a lightning storm invokes both wonder and fear within us.

I don’t like being ill, I read up a lot on natural healing and try to gather herbs and things like that so I can get better faster if I ever do fall ill. I take a lot of vitamin C too. I don’t stay ill for very long.

I always think it’s weird that their is a skeleton inside of everyone, I look at the features of people sometimes and I try to imagine the skull that’s under all that skin and tissue and make up. It boggles my mind but I know its in there, its in all of us but it seems strange to me for some reason.

I collect movie tickets from every movie I’ve seen since High school, I have them in a little heart shaped angel tin, I hope to look back on them one day and remember, maybe I’ll put them in a scrap book for something one day, whatever I do with them I cherish them, they are each their own memory I don’t want to loose.

Violets are beautiful flowers, i sprained my ankle jumping over a beautiful little patch of them when i was a kid. I look back on it and and think of how silly it was because we mowed them down the next day but they were so beautiful i just couldn’t bare to put my foot into the middle of them.

sad hate regret love pain loss empty. Sometimes it’s waiting to happen, sometimes it should have never come. The tears, the conversations, the hugs, a time when people are finally brought together. But due to death? Is this what makes us remember how beautiful life is?

When I was seven years old, you were a panda bear and I was a grasshopper. I thought I was psychic. I thought I could fly, the sky could fall in, futures were bright and shiny and made of plastic. You thought I was crazy.
When I was nine years old, you told me that you were the crazy one, not me. “Tarnished,” you said.
