Once upon a time, there was a little girl. She lived deep at the bottom of a trench with her mother, brother, and sister. Her father, rest his soul, had left them months ago to search for food, but hand’t returned. His last words were “don’t leave the trench”. Of course, the little girl wouldn’t listen. What little girl does?

I feel cool sometimes, but I almost never feel cooler than anyone else, particularly people that I actually know in real life. Sometimes I think I could be cooler than sitcom nerds, though.

Mother’s apron, the front splashed with cake mix. A mixing bowl and a giant spoon, too big for my mouth, all for me to lick clean as the cake bakes in the oven of Mum’s kitchen.

An elephant bends his long, curled, trunk to the wat at the riverside. Around are scattered leafless trees, isolated on the plains. Antelopes graze at the dry, brown, grass.

I’m laying in bed as i type this, next to my husband and covered up by my favorite blanket that I’ve had since i was a child. I love this blanket and covering up with it makes me think of all the times in my life when it has brought me comfort and warmth and it makes me happy. The husband is warm too. ^_^

I’m very passive aggressive, if I get mad I won’t yell or scream but I might pee in your milk for the next five years, just saying. You’ve been warned.

This is my canvas, I attempt to make pictures with words and make them move through your mind, with each word the characters move and live, love and die. this is my canvas and i’ll paint on it until the story is done, the paint all gone.

I have too many managers at work, it annoying. Too many cooks in the kitcken and all that. They are all in cahoots with eachother. Theres a lot of favoritism where I work, it makes it hard to work there most of the time. Its good money however, so I stay and I suffer.

I have 2 dogs, I am constantly amused by their antics. Mostly annoyed, but every now and then they do something that I just can’t help but laugh about. I love them to bits and i wouldn’t trade them for the world. Pets bring such pleasure to our lives, I couldn’t imagine being without my dog.

Violets are beautiful flowers, I sprained my ankle jumping over a beautiful little patch of them when I was a kid. I look back on it and and think of how silly it was because we mowed them down the next day but they were so beautiful I just couldn’t bare to put my foot into the middle of them.

It really doesn’t matter how far away I am. I can be millions of miles away and i can still feel you sitting next to me, so near your warmth tickles my side. That’s what happens when you carry someone with you in your heart.

When you think about it, in the grand scheme of things, all these things I’ve made, what are they worth? Anything at all? Honestly, it was all just a waste of time although it seemed so important then.

Sure, she was only a maid, mopping and sweeping and all of that, but she could work her way up, couldn’t she? She would get there, eventually. Someday, she could have this old house and a hundred maids!

She finished sewing the quilt, looking out the window with tired yet happy eyes. She was a never-been-kissed old maid, but she had made sure she would never be lonely.

What’s wrong with kids on leashes? Have you ever felt the heart attack that comes from looking down and noticing that Junior has disappeared? Some kids do need it. So don’t judge.

She was young, she was sixteen, and she was pretty. She drank. She partied. She did everything she possibly could, as though she were dying tomorrow. She waited for her parents to tighten the leash around her neck. But they didn’t.

It was over, it was over. It was finally over. He was dead, and she had killed him. The moment he had breathed his last breath she had felt pleased, but what was this guilt that now remained?
