muddy through the field. the loose end of the dress gets caught, dragging in the dead flowers. the rain is long gone, but the smell of wetness permeates the air. looking up, the sky leaden, she wonders when the sun will be back.

I wake up and I see the clouds above me.
They are abstract. I feel like I’m no longer on earth.
They form a pattern, strewn together away from where I can reach.
I’ve never seen the clouds like this before.
They’re beautiful, these clouds.

People are not ignorant. They just lack common sense.

The moment you entered the appartment, you could smell it. the overpowering sent of meat cooking. It sent your mouth watering for a taste of that steak sizzeling on the grill.

I wish i was wealthy. Wealth is all i need right now since i am so poor it’s disgusting. Wealthy people don’t understand how it’s like to wake up and struggle each day. My phone doesn’t even work.

everlasting doesn’t come easy. not even the thought of it – inconceivable. if you knew anything about me you’d understand why that is.

but you don’t, and you won’t.

i needed proof you were not going to play with me right from the get-go. yet how could i possibly ask for it; reasonably so. how unlike me that would’ve been – so i just didn’t.

The institue was on this little road no one ever really drove onto unless they actually meant to go to the institute itself. the drive was filled with trees that covered the road, forming some kind of arch the whole way there. It felt like another world altogether.

The tunnels ran underground all throughout the city. It had become a whole city underground, with shops, merchants, and schools. The city had been created by the Originals. After a virus broke out on the surface, the Originals sealed away the Underpeople into the tunnels below. No one has gone above surface in centuries, until today.

I just quikly grabbed my passport and a duffled bag that I quickly stuffed with the essential and was out the door. As I was driving toward the airport, I could only think how crazy this was. But I just had to follow my heart.

There were still too many unanswered questions left hanging. Where had she been all night? With whom? What had she done? What secret was she trying to keep hidden? But most importantly, why was she refusing to talk about it all? He was just now starting to realize that maybe he didn’t know her as well as he thought. The whole episode had given him a glimpse into this other life that she was living. And this other life did not involve him. In fact, it was clearly off limits to him. This was all very unsettling and the more he thought about it, the more unanswered questions came to his mind.

One of those stinky sticks that burns and smells only of smoke. I got in trouble once for burning one that smelt like cigarettes. The person who bought it for me was the one who told me off. I was a kid.

A type of pen that is used on a white board. Could also be a type of pen used for writing names on clothing so that they don’t get lost – a marker of the permanent type. There are lots of different coloured markers available and you can get creative and make different designs and patterns with them. It is useful for people working in

She opened her cupboard to find empty jars. Time to get canning, she thought. Pulling out her biggest stock pan, she boiled some water and placed the jars in to sterilise. Canned peaches? Canned tomatoes? Maybe some pickles, or marmalade…

The kitchen was a mess when her husband walked through the door. What are you doing? He asked, afraid of the answer.

Canning some vegetables and fruits I think. Was her reply. She really had no idea what she was doing. Maybe she should have used magic for this project after all.

Have you ever stolen something without knowing it? Friends, love, money that got left behind.. I believe we sometimes do, and that it’s a human trait.

The gated community were unforgiving. Forgiveness was left for everyone else. Not me. Not you. Not anyone. I gated my problems and left. Waling aimlessly. Free at last. Freedom. Free.

Octave – interesting choice of words. Has to do with music and and how low or high it can be. Cannot remember the exact definition. this is way harder than I thought it would be. good starter for the day though. I think the teachers will enjoy using this in class

This place is a place of change. It has no beginning and no end. This place of paradise is where colors blend together and people are at peace with one another and with themselves. This is a place of paradise that doesn’t exist and probably won’t soon, but as days pass
…I think we’re getting closer.

Beyond that wall was the greatest thing in my life, the thing I had been waiting for for years. I looked up, the sun glaring, to see if the top was anywhere visible. With a sigh, I noted that it was not. Looking down, the ground was hard. How was I going to get in? So close, only to fall short? No!

A key role in any good country song, a stoop for the long tanned legs of the farmer’s daughter, a place to rest your sandwich in between bales, or for Miley to swoop her hips around during one of her painfully repetitive music videos; the tailgate is argumentatively the most versatile part of any vehicle.

Freedom is the essence of alllowed. Allowed should be the cornerstone of a persons personal life.
Everything is allowed because everything is right. If it exists, it’s allowed.
To be human is to allow.

I ventured out into the wild, never thinking about those at home, what they might be doing at this moment. All i could feel was the breathtaking wind that buffeted my face.

I think I mispelled your name when I wrote it down in the tag that was hanging from your corpse. Then I killed myself.

This was the season that would begin it all. No fear, no more heartache just a glorious beginning complete with freshly fallen rain. The glints of water dazzled on the autumn leaves as she walked along the sidewalk. Like freshly strewn diamonds enticing the eyes. Across the way she noticed the vibrant red leafs dancing and singing to their yellowed twins while the green siblings cherished their final color conversion with a splash of the fallen rain. She thought of him and all they’d been- all they could have been and what they never would be. Lost and twirling away in the mind she didn’t notice the man in front of her walking his dog. She tripped over the Labrador and the man reeling backwards and reeking of scotch slipped into the street where he was hit by a bus. One slip and the life turned black.

I hated this. Hated having to defend myself all the time. For every little thing I did, there had to be some explicit reason behind it, or else I was worth it. Oh, I wanted a scoop of ice cream? Well, I did deserve a treat after spending two hours in the gym that day and another eight working, And yet, that still wasn’t a good enough reason for her. Never for my mother. Nothing I said could ever please her.

The toaster sat desolate, lonely, waiting to be used. Shimmering in the corner, the crumby corner, toasting, simmering in anticipation.
