one last fall
but not really
there was a bed at the bottom
a little door to godhood
he wasn’t scared
he was terrified
godhood was a small price to pay for victory
or so he thought

so very very far
she wouldn’t jump
she knew better than that
the wind tugged her down
but she wouldn’t jump

She sat at the other end of the table. She was beautiful; the kind of girl you’d expect to see in a modeling magazine. I couldn’t really explain how I felt. I felt confused. How did I end up with her? I was captivated by her.

Dark like the night, the crow is wise. Beautiful.

The world is round, not flat. Could you imagine if it were flat? If you just went to the edge of the world and you could tumble off into space. The ocean would just flow off into outer space and make the most amazing shapes since there is no gravity in space. People would take tours and cruises. It would be one everyone’s bucket list to visit the edge of the world before they die. TO stare off into space and vast sky that went up and down. There would thousands of unsolved crimes, because what would be a better place to get rid of evidence if not at the edge of the world?

It was murder they say, murder that took my childhood away, murder that killed my innocence, taken by the numb society, by the boys who took what they what they wanted, they got their jollies, but were disgusted with the leftovers. It was murder.

Woman are fetus machines, cranking them out day after day, the wailing mess of flesh, we are forced to love them, to nurture them, they suck away our lives while we create theirs. fetus machine.

Divided we are weak. With half of my heart missing, it supprises me that I can stand so strong. I cannnot wait to meet my missing piece, my other half, the other soul that compliments mine perfectly. Someday, I will be whole with him, and strong.

I am not in the zone. I don’t really know what the zone is but I know I’m not in it. It seems like everyone else is. It bugs me, a lot. I just want to know how to get in the zone. Please tell me? No one will tell me. Why the fuck not? You guys don’t want me in the zone…

I went to the bank the other day and the teller was super friendly. She helped me with all my problems, and I definitely would recommend her to anyone. I was so surprised, because I guess I thought that all bank tellers are grumpy and stuck in jobs they hate. Proved me wrong. Way to go, girl. Way to go! Represent your profession!

We are lanterns on a hill. Lights in the sky. We are the light of the world, and we bring light into dark places. God is light, God is our lantern, and by that lantern we can see everything through this eternal light.

to defend against the pain, the I don’t want tos, the huge fear of greatness. I see walls around so many of us which we think is necessary to protect us from evil and hurt. Our hearts, love and alive

I cannot describe your actions. I cannot describe your words. I cannot even look at you, because just knowing you… it hurts.
What are you?

There is a bridge in the middle of nowhere. You’ll often find yourself standing at the precipice of it, wondering whether or not to cross, or if, as many do, you should turn back. Don’t turn back. Cross the bridge and advance as a person, remaining untouched by your worries from the past.

She stood at the mouth of the bridge and considered her life. Across the bridge was the other side, waiting for her in the mist of the unknown. Taking a shaky breath, she took the first step and crossed the bridge that lay before her, never pausing to look back at the life she once had.

It makes me think of Lady Gaga’s telephone song. Beyonce too. But now I’m thinking of cheerleaders with megaphones at a football game. Winning hopefully. Man this is boring. I had hoped I would get a better word than this. Am i thinking right now or just writing? You do both at the same time!!

It wasn’t right, she thought. He’d just come up to her and demanded she go with him! Who on earth did that? A gentleman wouldn’t, and she wouldn’t settle for anything less than a gentleman. Not even if he was otherwise charming. And handsome. And perfect.

The city was as silent as the grave. Melody once asked her mother where everyone had gone, and her mother had said “Heaven.” Melody hoped Heaven was nice. She was very sick and her mother said that she would be going there soon. Heaven had to be better than the silent city.

He began forgetting things after Fen left. Simple things like where the birds used to land on the power lines, the sharp crescent of Fen’s jaw, what kind of things they used to talk about.
The only compensation was the ink that stained his fingers and clothes. Behind closed doors he could still recreate Fen through words leaping off the page. In the dim light of his room, he could still feel the way Fen’s fingers curved over his hip, still and undemanding.

There was a clover in the field. SOMEONE CAME ALONG AND ATE IT AND EVERYONE DIED BECAUSE IT UNLEASHED A DISEASE UPON THE EARTH THAT HAD NO CURE. THE END.

I am obsolete. In a world so rapidly expanding, we all are. Everything, as it is created, immediately becomes obsolete,

I have always wondered about wondering. What a wonderful world we have to wonder about. Wonderful, wonderland. All around us is wonder. Have you wondered about a wonder? I think you have. But I can not prove this wonder. Wondered. Wondered? I wonder.

what? I already did almost. do you not have another word? Here’s where you should say, do YOU not have any more words? I always have more words. Jokes on you. Sometimes I think my ability to have this flowing, stream of consciousness writers voice has really been an aid in my social ability to keep a conversation going. But then I get all self conscious about talking too much, then I have to stop, then the conversation gets weird and quiet.

cards come from my grandmother. she has some for every holiday and i am shocked at how many cards she has at her disposal. She just sent me a card for valentine’s day and signed it “pretty juvenile but cute nontheless” and it struck me that she must just have a catalogue of cards that she pulls from and never chooses a card specifically for me. but there is always money in it, and that is just for me. she has the most beautiful handwriting and i was talking to simon and we realized that older people have such beautiful handwriting because they never used computers and our handwriting has gotten sloppy because we are so used to the keyboard. I can type much faster now than i can handwrite and it doesn’t hurt as much. so how can we personalize type-written cards? how can we make it specific and soulful and sweet with these already created typefaces?
