A car just got towed by a tow truck and for that had to pay $10,000

her body warps from shape to shape
in a timeless cycle. her hair in the curls
of a fern, her eyes from the pebbles
in the stream. her skin is night and stone,
her mouth the cavernous universe.

I don’t know what a mixtape is. I guess this is our generation, the generation who knows what’s old-fashioned and what’s not; the generation that is slowly being consumed by their internet addictions. Who care about clothes and phones.

I’m part of this generation.

I am the kind of girl who gets insanely good grades. The kind of girl who answers all the questions right and is utterly academic-minded.

I am also the kind of girl who cries at night, who has parents that hate each other. I am also the kind of girl who’d like to kill herself.

A cloaked figure manifested in the doorway. It beckoned to me, a hollow gesture that appeared more ceremonial than meaningful. My feet moved, one staccato step following another, until I reached the inky darkness it occupied. It drew back its hood, slowly, smoothly.

I found very little surprise, but equally little solace, in the fact that my mysterious figure was Death itself.

My mother likes to victimize herself. She talks about how my father attacks her with his words, how he manipulates her, and when I was little, I believed all that.

She tries to tell me, now, that I’m being a rebellious teenager. A typical, rebellious teenager. Perhaps I am. After all, she’s my mother who knows me better than I know myself.

But me? I think I’m finally growing up. Finally waking up and opening my eyes and seeing her for who she really is, and she hates that I’ve slipped out of her control.

I wonder all the time why my life had to turn out the way it did. I feel like I wasn’t even chosen, just plopped down into this twisted world with a dysfunctional family. And that’s what scares me the most: what if I wasn’t chosen? What if I’m just another thing to take up space? What if I have no real purpose here?

These thoughts are dangerous, because they do nothing but encourage me to be selfish.

They talk about a “chosen one” like it’s something real and solid. I don’t know how people can walk so blindly into the world, holding only their faith. I don’t understand how strongly they cling to these fleeting beliefs.

Faith must be a manipulative thing.

When the line is blurred between the possible and impossible, when the two extremes become one, that is when insanity becomes reality and life is forced to become death.

I twist and turn and spin and fall and all I ever do is end up tangled in my own thoughts, and I fight against them as they slither and slip and slide and coil around me until they choke and suffocate and smother and strangle and kill.

One bullet through my head.

One bullet through my heart.

One bullet through my soul, and I fall into darkness.

I am selfish.

I am like dough: I have the potential to become something, but am still nothing. I am shaped by everyone around me in subtle ways that change me depending on who is molding me into something different.

As innocent as a newborn, and killed as slowly as one thrown into a raging fire. But the world is a cruel and unusual place.

I would turn around to look at you, but I can’t. I can’t keep watching you leave; I can’t keep seeing you walking away from me. You tell me everyday that this is the last time you’re going, that now, we can be in one place at one time.

I don’t improv very well. Not on my own, anyway. On my own my humor is shallow and small. It’s all ‘haha, so this one time-‘ that I think is very funny but somewhere between my mouth and your ears it gets jumbled and you look at me like I’m a nutter. No, my improv comes from you. When I can play off you and your words and make you laugh because you are funny. That is why everyone thinks I’m good at improv.

Meanwhile back at the motel, Dean paced in circles, trying to decide whether to call him or not. Finally: “Screw it,” the hunter muttered and picked up the phone.

“Operator? Get me room 301. Cas? This is Dean. What do you think you’re doing?”

He listened for a minute.

“No, you wasn’t at the meeting.”

“The secret meeting in the bunker, Cas!”

Scalps are amazing. If you really think about it. I mean, our hair grows from them! Without hair, we would freeze. In my opinion a scalp is much better than everyone thinks. No one ever talks about scalps at all!

“I’m so delighted you came, Emily!” Said her grandmother
“It’s my pleasure, its not every day your grandfather gets set on fire at the drugstore.”
“He will be missed”
They began to mosey on over to the snacks table, when suddenly, something caught Emily’s eye. A cat wearing pajamas was reading the eulogy.

It’s sad when people have no credibility.
As if their excuse is a disability.
That they only use as a formality
To get out of reality
These presumptions are true despite nationality
Gender, race or sexuality

I feel the happiest when I’m with my friends. Riding around til late, running through the lake waters–too cold, but not cold enough. Feeling free and alive, the stars could not have been placed better.

pirates and gangsters are the only things that seem to come to mine instinctively, like a handpicked family of sorts but slightly evil looking from an outsiders point of view.

convict. isn’t that an Akon song? I’ve always disliked his music. anyway, today has been a stressful day. and in a way, i feel like a convict in my life. I am always running away from it, but i really can’t escape. i’m trapped and I don’t know how to escape. I feel like I should stop the same routine of being disappointed in myself.

trying to find a job and a place to live when you aren’t in the said city for job/living is really difficult. especially when you have no money, and really no help from your family. I am stressed out. It’s such a hassle to pack when you also only have one suitcase/

“This is such a dilemma” is one of my friend rowena’s favourite sayings. A dilemma is a situation where there is a problem involved which requires solving. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA lol I have a blooming dilemma every day of my life and I can’t even spell dillemma right!

An act that someone does for someone else, it is not true, for someone is afraid to do so himself. For the stunt itself in dangerous, the fearful man will make others do it so he wont have to get hurt himself. Living dangerously is below others, while for the ones that are not above the rush of a good time, live for the power of danger and wildness.
