To hold back. In past tense. Usually I see this word used when people hold back information from someone else.

Delivery. I made a delivery once, and when my grandma got it, it was broken. Delivery stinks!

Hi hands smelt like cigarettes, stained and his heart soaked in booze. He pushed the door open for me. Such a gentleman.

I feel like I’m always stalling around with work because I’m scared of the outcome. My mind comes up with reason why I cannot do something. Other times it’s just the feeling of discomfort, or fear an

A man was strung up on that tree many years ago. He was said to have murdered three innocent men in the night, and so the towns people had took his live body and tied him up. They hung him and he dangled there for many minutes, flaring around, trying to break free, but too late. He was dead and they burned the corpse and the ropes, then the children laughed and danced. No one goes near that tree anymore.

I looked at all these fools, thinking they could win my father over. He was still heartbroken over my mothers absence and all these lousy women wanted was his money… he knew it too. He looked bored in his chair, not aroused at all. I sighed, sinking into my seat, wishing to be with Mary Jane today. She always knew how to enlighten the mood.

I watched the ice cube dissolve into my glass. The day was hot and I wished I could just jump into the lake, but that would never happen with my overprotective mother watching me every move. Sure, I could swim, but I was no Olympian and that scared my mom. It was unfair…. everyone else swam. Even the kids who didn’t know had to got to stay in the shallow parts. Why not me?

There was a bowling alley, haunted and hollowed on the inside. No one ever dared go inside, for it was told there were screamers and banshees that would shriek so loud you would be deaf by the time you could leave. I didn’t believe this story, so I decided I would go in the bowling alley for the night with my brother. This is what happened.

I walked into the cafe and sat down. There was only a few people inside so it was a perfect place to have a quiet sit down and drink tea while I did my homework. College was harder than I thought. That is when a man came up t me and sat sat down. “You look very beautiful,” he winked. I smiled and blushed, not sure what to think.

There was a burrow in the ground where a rabbit lived. He was white and had a family, but there was construction near his home. They built a hospital over his burrow and all was lost. He was homeless. His family was homeless. He hopped away. He was gone. Everything was a blur and once again he was lost in life.
He represents me. He represents living in this world. Lost.

“He isn’t available, sir.” The secretary told me. I did not care. I walked past her and burst into the office. He was in a meeting, his suit perfect, his hair slick and his face stubble free. I hated him

I’ve grown up in church since I was born, my parents have thought that the grand cathedrals in Mexico were amazing. I thought they were boring and wondered why they all felt the need to show Jesus hanging on the cross. It wasn’t a pleasant place to be. Very boring. Very stuffy. Few people loved God in those places. Few people loved me.

once upon a time, there was a woman who was a professional linedancer, but then she lost her legs in a car crash and couldn’t dance. she got soooo upset and everybody in the village she lived in came to her house and tried to cheer her up with flowers and chocolate, but nothing worked and a month later she killed herself.

I was under the bleak winds of Henavd, the land where all witches go when the first full moon enters there teenage years. I could feel grass seeping through the gaps between my toes, I could see a place that was my own paradise. I could hear something too, not the wind, not the trees. I could hear a voice that was, as far as I was concerned, unfamiliar.
“Come my child, come live with us in the forest. Come to me Elis….”
The voice trailed away, I was scared. There was someone here who knew my name, I herd footsteps, I fell. I was too freaked out to struggle, even if I had tried, the immense force of whatever the footsteps had come from compacting me so that I could not move. I was being kidnapped…..

This was not written in 60 seconds.

I sat in the musty shelter. There I was safe. I knew that I would not be safe for long though, the cordon would not hold for much longer. I saw it. I panicked.

I ran straight across the fields right into the shelter. It was damp and dark. I could feel something watching me.

In the desert water runs and runs but it doesn’t let itself be seen, this plant’s roots are like the eyes of the desert they see water when it isn’t there it is the realisation of mirages and the storer of greatness and life, life in adversity. Achievement is overcoming and overcoming factors is evolution and evolution is progress. Life.

suppose, it’s when you think something is going to happen, or maybe something you imagine. it’s a place of possibility, it may or may not. and i say it a lot, i suppose, right? that’s how it works? suppose we go here or there, anywhere. maybe some day, not today.

these are evil death sticks designed to suck people in and literally leave them dry. They’ll be dry because their lungs, skin, and wallets will be shriveled up as a result of these stupid things. I bet you that the fat cats of the tobacco industry don’t even smoke.

Se oli viimeinen pisara. Hänen kätensä tärisivät, hengitys katkeili, kylmät hikipisarat valuivat selkää pitkin. Raivo valtasi hänen jokaisen solunsa, kietoi sisälleen kuin pienen lapsen. Hän ei kestänyt enää. Tämä oli viimeinen kerta.

maroon is an awful color. its the worst red in the entire world. but its part of the band, maroon 5. So, that makes up for its lack of color. Maroon 5 is a super awesome band. People can be marooned on an island, which would reallly suck (Gilligan’s island!).

It curls around the trunk of the tree
Holding tight
For its life is on the line and there is nothing
But the braid to keep you in place
Perfectly plaited
Beautifully ribboned
Without which the life will end
and a new one will have to start

Lust is a sin. It makes you wanna bang someone, but, in the end, you decide to actually bang, or not to actually bang. Lust is when you look at someone attractive, and they look at you, and there is an unspoken craving for each other. Lust is hot.

I failed. Who hasn’t? Failure is something that teaches, but to have failed hurts. It means that you weren’t good enough, your actions weren’t good enough and that is that. You can retry, but if you failed, that cannot be erased.

history is everything that has been done, and it repeats and repeats and repeats. history is a part of our DNA, our bones, our flesh. History teaches lessons, and tells an infinite amount of stories. Sometmes history is funny or sad or both. But it is what it is, and nothing can change it.

I went to the station and I felt the ominous feeling of travel sweep over me. The sounds of a train are music to my ears. The rocking and rolling and bumping of a train are like a symphony. The ode to travel. This is where I belong.
