There are a lot of people in the world who like monkeys

One day I was happily on my way to my friends house when I dropped a glass cup on the ground so I got a broom and swept it up

She sells sea shells on the sea shore; we’ve all heard that line before. What we don’t hear about, however, is the desperate woman, dressed in barely more than rags, scrabbling along the coastline in desperation of something to earn her her next meal. She is starving, helpless, on the sea shore.

principals or principal? i always hated my principals in high school. can’t think. stupid principals. principal of the matter. principals are important. principals are morals. if you don’t have morals, where are you? nowhere. we are all nowhere anyway. find yourself. create yourself. examine the world.

one of my best memories is the time that i went to stay at the public museum with a bunch of girl scouts even though i was not a girl scout. we got to stay up all night long and tour the museum while everyone else in the world was asleep. we went into the planetarium and learned about astrology and everything else. it was there when i learned that i was a Sagittarius.

horses don’t care: they don’t care how much you weigh, how much sorrow you carry on a daily basis. they don’t care what your past is, they don’t care what color your eyes are or the things that you’ve done wrong. they don’t care who loves you and who doesn’t love you, or if anyone loves you. they only want to serve you.

For a moment, she didn’t believe her eyes. She remembered his words, heard the shot, but still, even now, she couldn’t fathom him leaving her even as the blood pooled beneath her. His spirit, his life-gone, ended,

Jesus helped us all by sacrificing his life. Sometimes I feel like I am not worthy of him or that I don’t give him enough thanks and praise or appreciate him. That makes me nervous and sad. I don’t know what to do. I wouldn’t know exactly how to show him, but I know he deserves all the love in the world.

I discovered this using StumbleUpon and it is one of the best discoveries I’ve ever come across. Let’s all discover something everyday, shall we? Our eyes will be opened like never before if we let them happen, those discoveries.

Discovery is a band and they are super. Discovery is also what makes this world. Without discovering things…. Well… We’d be totally fucked. I mean… Everyone has discovered something, whether noteworthy or not. Live in discovering.

He stopped writing and put the chalkboard in his pocket. He can’t seem to get the equation right. If he is ever to build something out of all the photos he collected, he needs an algorithm. Maybe he should sleep on it. But no, he can’t sleep. Not with all the possibilities running through his head if he gets the equation right. He needs to keep on going.

I put my backpack down and surveyed my surroundings. After 7 days of hiking, I can’t believe that I’m actually here where the sun makes everything so much more beautiful. The ruins are truly majestic from its position on the mountain. They’re like God’s little playthings.

there was a chorus. their voices lifted up to the sky, filled with emotion. a blend of sound, the rich quality crept it’s way into the hardest of hearts and soften what was there. the music swam around them, making pictures in the air.

Without a thought, she leaned into his embrace. She smiled as he kissed her forehead, and looked up.

“Can you believe you’re a father?”

He smiled down at her, his eyes still awed.

I couldn’t believe how simple it was.
Everything just seemed to click, leaving no room for doubt.
I hadn’t realized before because I hadn’t WANTED to believe. I looked at him now, my face betraying a calm I didn’t feel.
“It was you,” I whispered.

It’s interesting how the environment we grow up in can effect our lives. I grew up next to a copper refinery. I remember so many kids grew up to have serious issues due to the effects of this poorly constructed refinery. Major bummer. Lots of extra toes.

He looked so…nonchalant. It was the first word that came to mind as she saw him standing there against the wall without a care in the world. She wanted him, that much was clear, but he was such an enigma. How could she tell him?

Each footstep brought her closer. And despite the pain, the blood that dripped down her side, she kept going. Even though they were miles apart, she had to tell him, she had to let him know.

She was alive.

he couldn’t believe what he had seen
“An..elementalist?” She nodded.

“What does this mean?”

“It means,” she said. “That our relationship is done. You know too much.”

Before he could blink she was gone.

He asked himself exactly when his life had taken this strange turn.

AS the two boys walked through the town, dusk approaching, they heard a sound in the distance. When they appraoched the stream they saw something they’d only heard about intales: an elemantalist.

And they were strong.

Weird is not an insult, it’s a compliment. It’s the one word that truly defines and connects us all. It is saying that an individual has the strength of heart and sense of self to not feel the need to mirror the behaviors and thoughts of others, but instead embraces all of their quirks and idiosyncrasies. They understand that those things are what define us. They’re what we will be remembered for. I would prefer to be remembered.
