She was standing with her feet in the sand. She was looking down. She went to Cornwall to find her favourite minerals. She was collecting them, but she couldn’t find the best one – the one that would express her own personality.

Her life was bland. She couldn’t make anything out of it. She never had any interest, she never had any interesting experiences. Sometimes she was even thinking that her life is so pointless, she could die and no one would notice. Well, that’s normal if you’re 15. It’s worse if you’re 44.

repetitive, slump, routine .. why be in a pattern if you can break free of it? … simplicity and comfort? … maybe we should all get knocked out of our patterns once in a while.

I’ve never liked change much, especially as I’ve gotten older. It’s taken me so long to deal with technology, etc. BUT today is a day of big change. Important change. Special, very special day. Today, Barack H. Obama was sworn in as our 44th president, our first african american president.

Sittin on the dock of the bay, a song that can be sung only in the deep croon of a large man at ease, had always been her favorite song. She couldn’t hear it without thinking of him, and that was the way she liked it.

the kangaroo was startled in the headlights of the oncoming vehicle. The driver could see the animal frozen with the whites of its eyes brilliant in the moonlight.

theis is a soft substance that feels lovely, it is also a description for a caring person who is thoughful and kind. Nannas are often gentle and I would definitly look for a gentle nanna any day. I love to be treated gently and the expression of gentleman is one to search for as in the olden days they would walk on the outside edge to protect the lady from the slop water that was kicked up by horses. Not much slop water around these days but a gentleman is still desired. Into warm gentle cashmere jumpers and wrap in a gentle blanket with a gentle dvd would be a great way to spend a sunday afternoon so go gently in life and look after those around you gently and have many gentle moments with lots of people especially nannas

the fabric of society, really? what exactly qualifies a material, an action, a person or community or a combination of all to be the fabric of society? I’m not sure am at all comfortable with the concept of the being the material which society is made of, regardless of whether I choose to be part of the society in the first place.

to wade into the ocean is one of life’s simple pleasures. wading or paddling is something that is done often and freely as a child but becomes more of a chore as we age. or mature. wading becomes part of doing paperwork or laundry or cookery, not the simple joy of immersing oneself in cool, calm or tumultuous water.
