the motor was running, it had been for the last half hour as he waited patiently, perhaps too patiently for her to walk out of the motel room door. it was a drab place, hardly suitable for human occupancy. They went there anyway.

[Shout out to my friend who said I could only submit one, jokes on you HAHHAHAHA]
The sound was like thunder. It echoed on and on like rolling hills, or the ocean’s waves. I am good at this, said a man, and everyone laughed. The laughter could be heard for miles away.

I laughed, it was a hard laugh, a laugh so hard it shook the very earth. The ground widened as if it were a mouth opening up for food. Out of the ground came a laughter like no other. The sound of happiness and joy. I think i’m on LSD. Help. I no good at this.

We fought all night until the morning came. My blood poured from my nose, my mouth, my eyes, but we sure got a good laugh when it was all over. Because I’d rather get punched in the face and watch the world fucking explode than never have the courage to use my fists in full, intelligent, knowing recreation. It was enough, only enough.

Intent is a word of inaction. I have intended on doing many things, If I had actually done half of them, I would be a lot prouder of myself.

I went to work today and later I am also going to mass. I’m not much of a churchgoer, but when I’m home I go more often than I do when I am at school. Perhaps I have some sense of duty to please my mother and make her think I’m a fully practicing Catholic. I do love God though. And I know there is one. I should go more often.

i think of two people together holding hands looking away from one another sitting on a bench or something staring into bright light. I can’t see their faces, I can just see their hands entwined old and worn illuminated by the light in front of them.

The wind, once straight, catches the blades, moving the massive stalks in twists and turns, pulling the energy from potential to actual… movement begets movement until all is spent.

When i was young i went to the market, and there was this giant bucket. I thought to myself how splendid it would be to have such a giant bucket. I could fill it with hot water and sit in it. I could fill it with sand from the beach and bring it home to have a sand box. I could flip it upside down and sit on it, pretend it is my throne.

I’m having the chills right now actually! :)
My air conditioner made the room waaaaaay too cold, but at least it got all of the humidity out of the room.

Transform yourself into what ever kind of bein gyou want to be. Or you can transform into a transformer! I would transform into a bullet bike. Or you could transform into a really hot girl. A girl that would want to be with me.

The pattern of those socks is quite mundane. It reminds me the time I had to sit in a lawyers office for three hours. I would have rather died three times over than sit there in boredom. It’s not my fault I ran my car into a light pole and caused a black out because I was eating a snickers.

the bench was wet when she sat down but she didnt care. the cold leftover rain drops seeped into her jeans, and it sent a shiver up her spine. she sat in an almost comatose state staring at the passers by, and the cars humming slowly around the parking lot. some kids ran by, giggling and she began to smile at this, when he caught her eye. when she saw him her whole body went cold and numb. she couldnt believe it but it was him. it was his car, and he was smiling at her. she began to tremble, the sight of him made her stomach turn, she couldnt turn away. ‘How did he find me?’ she got up to run away, but she stopped. what is he doing? she asked herself. he had the queerest little grin on his face, and he seemed to be working something back and forth in his lap. his face became flush, and then she realized what he was doing as he threw his head back and his whole body shook as he finished himself off.

the lillies in danced gently in the breeze. a bird chirped excitedly in a tree overhead. it was all so peaceful, he could barely contain the urge to throw his arms out and spin wildly until he collapsed on the fresh, soft grass. he continued walking instead. the sun warmed his his shoulders and he smiled. he could feel the smell of grass, flowers and tree bark penetrating his clothing and hair. but then, another smell invaded his nostrils. thick and pungent, almost sweet, but too unpleasant to be described as so. it stuck in the depths of his throat, and wouldnt leave. he coughed, attempting to alleviate the agressivness of the odor, but it only triggered his gag reflex. he continued walking, despite the growing strength of the odor, then he saw her. a woman, no, a girl. lying in the tall grass, he almost missed her, almost walked right on by, but the face of the young woman caught the corner of his eye. she was laying in a twisted and unnatural position, ‘her head shouldnt be twisted that way.’ he thought. her feet were bare, and so lifeless, and her face…oh god her face. the eyes were had no whites in them, there were completely bloodshot, and half open, in a dull, glazed over stare. not the eyes of dead person at rest, no, not at all. and her smile, the skin around her mouth looked as if it had been torn or partially chewed away. probably by animals. she lay there, staring up at him, with those bored dead eyes, and that macabre grin, ruining his perfect day out, mocking and laughing at him. he couldnt stand her face.

the view from the miranda was incredible. she gasped as a gust of wind cleansed her of any apprehensions she had about coming here. she was joined by the strong arms of her husband wrapping around her. she giggled as he nuzzled at the nape of her neck. ‘stop..’ she said playfully. she gasped again, this time in surprise as he gripped her hips violently. suddenly she was airborn. he hoisted her up and flung her like a heavy bag of garbage. she didnt scream until the realization of the cold cement below was inches from her face, in result, her scream came out short, sudden, mixing in with sqwaks of near by seagulls. he laughed at this.

the slouch in the chair infurated her. she yelled at him. he didint move. she threw her wine bottle at him. he didnt move. she kicked the chair he was sitting in. he didnt move. she climbed up on the coffee table in front of him. lifted up her skirt, and in all her drunken glory, she dug inside herself, and pulled out her soiled tampon, and flung it at his face. the look of pure bewilderment was no match for the volume of her laughter as she toppled of the coffee table. he quickly clamped his hands around her throat. he wanted to stifle all the laughter out of her. he wanted to squeeze all the life from her. he wanted to ring her dry. she looked up at him wide eyed, she couldnt believe her son was strangling her.

laughter rang out in the cathedral. the father jerked his head up, one eyebrow raised. he was sitting in the office, studiously working on something when he heard the laughter. it wasnt children’s laughter, thats what seemed so strange to him. he got up from his desk. took five careful steps to the door, and when he reached for the doorknob, he heard the laughter again. this time, it was right outside his door.

he sat on the plane planning his next bathroom trip. the big fat man that sat next to him breathed too loudly and had been in there for over…fourty-five minutes. he was finding it hard to concentrate on his game of solitaire when his bladder was bursting with pain. he regretted the five jameson on the rocks he had drank. he fidgeted in his seat. his discomfort was feeding his rage. he tried to tell himself he was just drunk, he got overly impatient when he was drunk. but as he tried to talk himself down form running up to the lavatory door and banging on it while yelling “GET OUT YOU FAT BASTARD! HAVENT YOU SHITTED ALL OF YOUR BRAINS OUT YET? LIKE YOU HAD ANY TO BEGIN WITH IN THE FIRST PLACE!” he realized it was too late. a taser accompanied by an elbow digging in between his shoulder blades by the undercover airplane security snapped him out of his rage fit.

he left the bar a quarter past ten. he was tired of staring at those lonely faces. he got in his car and drove. he just drove aimlessly around, his mind spinning. he felt as if he couldnt get his head around the reality of it all. the distance he felt from the world. he had no connection with anything positive anymore. the more he tried to reconnect with what he felt was real, the more he felt disconnected. his dream world was shattered apart when he realized he was going a hundred miles an hour and the big sharp curve coming up in the road strained the tires his shitty dodge

her name was orchestra. she had the darkest eyes he had ever seen. she took his hand in hers, and lead him downstairs to the basement. as they descended, he realized he could smell something pungent. the origin of the odor eluded him as he struggled to recognize it. suddenly he felt light-headed. just then, his memory identified the smell. he had smelled it a thousand times before wafting from underneath the door of his mother’s bedroom. it was sex. it the dank odor of shame, and self-loathing.

he was beginning to feel like a total failure. he sat and drummed his fingers against the steel counter top. he shook with anger and frustration. he walked away, only thinking of going to bathroom to relieve himself, but instead he saw the door. he walked towards it. he didnt stop. he walked right out the door, to his car, jangled his keys out of his pocket, dug under the driver seat, and found his gun.

the beginning of the end they said. the beginning of something new he thought. as he walked out into the sunlight. he realized he was leaving all his creature comforts behind. a feeling of panic dug into him like a dull blade.

The job was one envied by all. The alarmist ran from room to room screaming at the other kids about nonsensical faux pas and family deaths, ruined loves and broken legs. The teachers hated him, but everyone else wished they could run around screaming like a mad dog telling lies from classroom to classroom.

the stillness of the water was ever lasting. as if i had stepped onto a far away planet, i felt completly alone. then out of the waater came a creature of great proportion. long legs and a neck as thick as a redwood.

I think of Joseph from Genesis, how he shepherded the rest of the Hebrews into this, the modern day, God created with him several covenants, and his descendants are becoming as many as the stars. Sheep dogs, goats milk, goat cheese, robinson crusoe.

she was automatic. like a loaded ak 47. full of death and speed, she took the turns like a cheeta. damned if she did and damned if she dont. she flowed like the ocean at midnight.

Warfare can be both terrifying and beautiful in it’s orchestrated ferocity. It is an art and a sport, but also a terrible, dangerous game.
