She called herself a gpsy. But all that really meant was that she couldn’t settle for long. she moved when she felt something worth staying for. She fled when someone meant something more than an acquaintance to her. She ran when something meant more than nothing to her.

I scan the crowd for him. Fearful, yet hopeful at the same time. My heart skips a beat and I can’t tell if I’m terrified or excited. Things are confusing when people inflict so many different feelings on you in such a short period of time. He leaves me wanting more, yet regretting it every time.

I sat there shaking. scared. frightened. my heart was beating faster than I ever thought it could… all because of you. When those 3 words left my mouth i felt relieved and terrified. And then… you touched my hand. And I knew it was going to be okay.

I don’t like this word and I don’t care. I don’t even know what it means. It rhymes with hateful. This is dumb. It doesn’t make sense. It is stupid. FATEFUL.

I hated math last year. I had a teacher that would only teach life lessons. Pointless ones at that. She was awful at helping us when we needed her most. I absolutely couldn’t stand her class. I am so glad I’m out of there.

What remained of the newspapers all had one headline: The End of the World as We Know It. It might have taken a millennium longer than scientists had first predicted, but the human race had finally exhausted its resources and grown weak to a number of better-adapted predators. An estimated five percent of the North American population had survived the freeze and were migrating South, in hopes that the Mexican government would soon open the borders. All of the creeks, rivers, and lakes were either frozen solid or polluted by industrialization. Adam hadn’t had a drop of water in days, and his thirst was rendering him delirious–easy prey for the brascops.

Desperation was named after Someone’s experience while walking through the desert. Someone forgot his canteen at his apartment but he did remember his smartphone. So he blogged about how suckish his situation was and he called the sensation of not knowing what to do “desertperspiration,” which the blogosphere shortened to “desperation.”

It was midnight before we finished loading the car. I’d been putting off accepting that it would in all reality be the very last time I said goodbye to the friends I had made at Coffee Rush, in the months leading up to the worst financial downfall of my adulthood.

As a child I always wanted a canopy bed. it offered a sense of mystery to a girl who preferred her privacy. Sadly privacy never came… I remained in a hand crafted sleigh bed with noting but covers to hide my reading eyes.

“Hey, I’m going to jump out this window!”
“That’s a door, Ned.”

Her life had become the antithesis of all she meant to do. This was the last straw. Back to the drawing board, with multi-colored markers. Permanent markers.

She walked in the door and removed her sneakers. To their left sat his boots, still caked with the mud of last week’s rain. She slipped them on and chuckled for a moment at the the sight, but the laughter soon turned to tears. So much can change in a moment.

Bg, full, and crowded to the brim. Noisy, polluted, claustrophobic. Many people, many places, history. Markets, homes, suburbs. Roads stretching everywhere.

The panda bear is little more than a black and white carnivore, yet we spend much time and resources trying to save its bamboo-munching butt. Nothing is eternal. Maybe it should try some other leaves.

Sometimes I think that being a director would be exciting, but then I remember how much work is involved. Being a director is like being a photographer who has to place every blade of grass in the right place. And then add a soundtrack.

Tall tales. Wives’ tales. Wind-in-sail tales. Tell me this or tell me that tales. Was it the animals or the people. Only Pi knows.

the procedure could change her life. completely. it was risky, but wasn’t that just it. you had to risk something in order to gain something better. it was decided. she would have the procedure.

a patient with only so long. the window being their only solace. the stars outside are full of light, leading others along in thier life. but here the patient sits, distraught with the thought of death knocking at their door.

july, the month that settles in on a hot summer breeze. the
month in which our founding fathers declared our independence. the
month right before school starts. the month that it all began. you
and me, we blew in with that breeze as well, and only today can i
tell you everything that i wanted to then.

he wasn’t himself. the man who would do anything to protect her from harm. no, instead he was the one inflicting it. unintentionally, but still. he was hurting her in a way that nobody else could, in a way that cut deeper than any knife ever could.

the time was measured in minutes and hours, but really, for her, it was measured by the amount of times that he took her breath away. when he told her that he loved her, when he finally proposed, and when he told her that all of those things were not true anymore and he was leaving her. Both good and terrible, those moments are the ones that seemed to stop in time and take forever to pass. all she can hope for now is that eventually something else will come along to teal her warm breath again.

To draw is a simple pleasure. For an artist to feel the paper beneath their hand, the pencil held in their grasp. There is nothing they like more. To draw and create something that the world has never seen is an extraordinary thing, and for an artist a very dear one as well.

The afternoons activity had left her spent, but when she looked up again, she saw his face just a few inches away from her own. No matter how tired she was nothing would stop her from kissing this boy. As she leaned forward his hand found its way to the back of her neck and when their lips finally met it was even more than she had thought it would be.

to teach is to change the world one student at a time. i would love to do that. to wake up everyday knowing that my job was to go and teach the children who will someday be in charge. the ones who will make discoveries. the ones who will bring us to peace in times of war. those who will become the teachers of the next generation.

I love white teeth. I’ve always wished mine were whiter. Their natural coloring is a yellow-ish tint, and according to the dentist, there’s nothing I can do about it. At least the braces straightened them out. All that thumb sucking over the years really messed with em, who knew. Teeth are one of those things that can make or break a person. Bad teeth= I will never ever kiss you. Not in a million years. Sorry hot British guy…just kidding, I think I can make an exception.

the freshness in the air was a welcome change after the dark and musty basement. it wasn’t until she felt the breeze on her face once more that she realized just how much she had lost while imprisoned in that dreadful place.

One vote. One chance for One person to make a difference. everyone has one but we all have to choose to use it. if everyone were to go out and make their voice heard we may see a change in our world.

Any girl would have fawned over him. But to her it was more than just the looks, it was that something that was hidden below the surfice that only she could see. They shared something. That something something would prove to be more important than anything else that i could tell you about from this moment in time.
