I go to a store in downtown to get clothes altered. Most recently I had a zipper fixed on a plaid hoodie and had three jeans tailored so that I would never feel worried about the length of different jeans. The store is not the closest one for alterations nor is it the cheapest, but I go because I’m loyal to the old couple that work there everyday.

I am a lousy friend, a lousy student, a lousy child, a lousy lover, a lousy scientist, a lousy athlete, a lousy judge, a lousy enemy. My self is a brutal and hopeless animal except for my soul. Now, how will I win this battle?

There are three strollers in my life: the one I rode as an infant, the one I saw my little brother Samuel in on the streets of Calgary, and the one I will push when I have children of my own. May I be blessed and find true love.

I was reading about Earth’s “other moons” online, and though I didn’t understand too much of the space talk, I realize how much is out there besides what I see on the textbook diagrams.

I hope to be alive eternally. Humans have the soul… I refuse to believe that we spend our entire lives becoming wiser and learned just to be snuffed out. Let my soul live eternally.

There is a drink called Sunny Delight. I used to be in love with Sunny. I froze the little bottles in the freezer and ate it as soon as I could. However, as I grew up, people around me labeled it unhealthy… Now I notice that it looks artificial, but who cares, right?

I went to a Korean store today for the first time in a long time, and saw many types of kettles (you know, Asians can design things into cool, cute, weird, creative things). I then thought about investing in a tea kettle sometime; not much to pay for considering the zen that comes from the millennia-old tradition of Tea.

I have a mission. It is to one day stand in the desert, look back at my life thus far, make new resolves, then shoot a gun (legally) in to the air in my underwear holding scotch on the rocks. Everyone has a mission, even if the mission is to have no goal. In any case, we are living the means and there is an end.

I don’t like crossing anything. Crossing the street, crossing someone, crucifixion, never seems like a positive thing to me.

I read that Jain nuns walk barefoot all the time today. They sweep the ground in front of them as they walk so as to prevent stepping on insects or any other living thing on the ground. A dedication and passion for a lifestyle that one truly believes in, I need that.

Soldiers are decorated, so are homes. I decorated my dorm room at college this past year to the best of my ability, but sadly it didn’t raise as big of a fuss as soldiers and homeowners do about their decorations. Do decorations by definition make things better, or is it just a term for elaboration?
