rebels

people who identify as rebels are rarely rebellious. they like the idea of being different in an exciting way, so they identify with that word. people who are truly rebellious are typically ostracized and alienated for their choices, so I would imagine they identify as different, but not necessarily rebellious.

gladly

I walked through the field of colorful blooming sunflowers and daisys.
But my rose was already picked.
The sunshine shimmered its sparkles all over.
Your eyes reflected the beautiful blu sky with plush clouds.

recycle

Those who recycle bear a colossal responsibility. In collecting old used bits of plastic, glass, cardboard and paper, a great deal of waste is avoided, and our fragile environment is done a tremendous service.

brunch

The bane of my existence, brunch is a reminder of my freshman year at Syracuse University. Upon entering the cafeteria on weekends, I smelled the godawful stench of bagels and pseudo-eggs until well after 1pm. For lack of a better word (as well as a surplus of impulse and anger), fuck brunch.

demonstration

In using examples and illustrations, one can more effectively convey or “demonstrate” something to another person. While initial text can portray a broad view of an idea, without demonstration most theoretical information would generally be lost on us all.

epiphany

Well I realized at the end of the day that everything and everyone had no real purpose in life, and that everything that ever has been seen was not real. This felt pretty terrible, if you ask me.

boiling

The kettle was boiling hot as the wind blew in the window. The cooker had just finished making lunch, and wanted a chat.
“I mean”, he said, “how am I supposed to keep doing this job if Fridge never speaks to me?”

And that was really the question of the day in the kitchen, that day.

band

I was in band in middle school. It was one of the best experiences I had. It was a camaraderie with people just as geeky and awkward as myself. I even did the honors band stuff, though, admittedly that was mostly to meet boys from other areas.

forgetting

is such a difficult thing to do when deep feelings are involved. I guess it’s one of the things it takes years and years to learn how to do. Or at least we think so, because we never really forget anything, we only get used to things in some new way.

scarves

I love scarves, even if I don’t wear them very often. They’re just so comfy and warm and makes the greatest gifts! Plus they’re pretty awesome accessories. :)

basic

so basically I think I fell a little harder than I expected to… Not good, especially when I can’t make that leap, but I’m just so happy when I’m with… and not so much when I’m not, just so stressful. Even though we’ve decided that basic instinct is best, and the talking? Not so much.

spot

I got a dog named Spot. He is a good dog. I call for Spot and he answers. Spot chases newspaper boys on bikes, he chases cars and has fun running himself ragged. Spot shows his appreciation for me giving him food and water by licking my face and letting me pet him. Spot is a great dog! You should meet him sometime. Spot

frog

I turn to a prince when I get kissed. Yes, I am that frog you’ve all heard about. It’s a true story, happens periodically. I can’t function without being kissed, not as a prince anyway.

loss

loss is pure sadness. it is isolation, painful and raw. untapped. and then u realise, there’s noone to help, no one to support you. you are alone cos you lost those who you trusted, those who you could lean on in times of trouble.
