I want them down. Walls come down. I don’t want any walls at all. Walls block my vision. Walls make me think I’m not ok. Walls keep me in. I don’t want there to be any walls at all. I want to be free. I want my mind to be clear. I want the walls down. I want open fields of loneliness. Open fields of possibilities. Open fields of friends.

We wandered slowly, out of breath, out of water. It’s not like we thought we wouldn’t make it. We knew we’d be fine. We knew that if we didn’t turn up soon, the camp would send out men on horseback to find us. We knew we’d be taken back there, and taken care of. But all that’s easy to forget in the heat, all that and more, all that and everything. We we wandered, slowly, out of breath.

Like lolz cats
and stuff

What wonder!
Women and drinking!
A blurred montage.

Sometimes I wish
I could remember
My montage

Other times
I am glad I black out
Like after
Too much Pokemon battling

Or when I brush my teeth
With a bottle of Jack.

I really have trouble remembering things. Like, the other day, I started looking for my fancy shoes and they were not anywhere at all. Dear lord, that was an utterly futile effort.

Regardless, I’ve nearly forgotten to discuss 10A New Media. How wonderful this class is — and Aden still hasn’t figured out that I started the meme on B@B. Well, it was a very good guess he made and I’ll never guess how he did it.

there was a stick on the ground, a little boy came and picked it up. he dragged the stick along the dirt road on his way home. when he got home he went to show his dog, rusty the stick. rusty, infatuated with his new gift was more than happy to play with it.

For many people the word means gossip but I never hear the word without thinking of OJ Simpson. That’s how old I am. I remember him as the football player and not the slasher.

My girlfriend was telling me about the embarrassing results of shingles. We broke up a month ago and then she came down with shingles. She’s beautiful and has long blond hair and the shingles have effected the nerves in her scalp causing the skin to peel and flake off onto her shoulders.

Some people are drawn to one another as moths to a flame, but I prefer the likening of a magnet to a refrigerator. A refrigerator’s contents can be just as deadly to a person as a flame is to a moth.

Science is a wonderful thing and I wish I understood more of the mysterious formulas and charts on which so many of the scientificos who run the world base their decisions and effect our lives.

We used to hunt ducks this time of year. Some of my best memories come from the Shoat Lakes, standing ankle deep in water, waiting for the cold front to bring them in. (I know that the prompt was ‘duck’, verb, not ‘duck’, noun.)

I’ve visited a few intentional junkyards but most of the junkyards I’ve found myself in were the yards of relatives who live in East Texas. It seems that no one knows exactly what to do with the automobiles that they drive until those cars are completely useless.

When I go to a market I am completely lost. Now, we’re not talking about outdoor or flea markets, but grocery stores. I am 50 and have yet to master the supermarket. I have some clues but I usually take about 50% longer to finish an errand than my 12 year old daughter would.

I’m certain of many things and uncertain of an equal number of things. Certainty is usually fleeting and circumstantial but one is always in search of it. What a wonderful word and it reminds me of a breath freshener.

When helping someone it is important to understand why you are helping that person before doing so. Are you helping to make that person’s burden lighter, or are you helping because you expect gratitude in return. It will be a more rewarding experience if you understand the answers to these questions before engaging in a work of altruism.

Working to become average has been my goal. Somedays average looks pretty good to me after I’ve looked around and compared myself with others; never quite good enough in the things that matter most to me. But then I realize that I only have to be better than my average.

I’m an average man and an average writer. Average may be overstating my abilities as both a man and a writer. It’s going to take a lot more work for be to become acceptable in either of these regard.

Lousy again? This is the second lousy day that this has been the “one word”! That’s lousy! Please, give me another word so that I stop thinking in this lousy pattern in which there are no lice.

Some mornings I wake up feeling lousy. Some days I would come home from work feeling lousy but since I no longer work I know longer come home feeling lousy and since I no longer work I no longer have a home to come back to. Boy, do I feel lousy about that.

To adapt means to get used to something. That’s what I’ve always thought of when I hear, read, or speak the word “adapt”. I’ve adapted to many things in my life, or so I thought, but then I realize that I never really adapted at all because I ended up walking away from the thing.
I just hit the back button and got another minute to finish my thoughts on this word. I suppose that I adapted to the situation, wouldn’t you say? Or, maybe not. Maybe you’ll read this and think that I’m just a dullard with nothing to say.

the red brick came flying though the widow like a slow flying bird… it crashed though the glass and then landed with a thud on the floor below, we waited with disbelief at what just happened. a long second passed and then everyone dropped to the floor. just as we did we could hear car tires squealing away down the street. we had been bricked!
