I think that I have completely forgotten how to flirt. Maybe that is a good thing. Flirting seems to indicate a lack of seriousness, a lack of purpose. People tell me to lighten up – I don’t think that being a flirt will accomplish that!

You are absolutely clueless … as in “You have no clue!”. How on earth could you have made t hose reservations when you knew that I would be working late tonight, and that (a) I would not have enough time to get there, and (b) I would be in no mood!

It is almost time for carnival! How exciting that is going to be – the parties, the street dancing, the mummers! Everything is so bright and shining for that time!

The maze was incredible! As we walked it, I began to feel an inner stillness. I knew this was going to be a sacred experience. Whatever I found at the center of the maze was going to be something from inside me – something important that I needed to connect with.

The pony wandered into the middle of the field – his main shining brightly, his ears at alert. he had a good life, and he knew it. He was the darling of the stable, as he was the pampered pet of the children of the house. A pet that had been brought in to help with grieving – and help he did! His star shines brightly!

I think we may have to adopt an attitude of neutrality here, We don’t want to get caught up in a very nasty political push/pull, and that is where it looks like this issue is headed.

What a beautiful butterfly! I have never seen one with that gorgeous red pattern on its wings before! It is fascinating to watch it flitter about amongst the while flowers – it stands out beautifully!

Walls … sometimes they serve to protect us, sometimes they keep us from approaching that which we want to approach. Walls of our own making, walls put up by others. Thye can be real, or they can be a house of cards.

Her planet’s orbit is way out there! She is really not very clued in to life here on earth, that is for sure. I worry about that sometimes, but other times I realize that she is perfectly happy the way that she is.

Is nothing sacred any more? Why does everyone have to act as if there are no rules, as if the game of life is a free for all, and the winner is the last man standing? What is sacred ab out that?

That was the chief reason that I wanted the board to address t he issue, although I did have other reasons. It is important to bring these things to people’s attention, and to stay on track witht he purpose of this organization, That is why we are here!

It was a mistake of epic proportions! Who knew that one little word was going to change the shape of the way in which the public viewed a major corporation! Late night shows ran with it … talking heads ran with it.

That was what she wanted for her birthday – a little red wagon. So that was what I told my brother – Mom wants a little red wagon. He thought I was nuts, until I explained that she wanted it to load up her gardening supplies when she was working in the yard. Senile dementia has not set in yet!

What a festival that is going to be! The Mardi Gras! I can hardly believe that we are going – I have wanted to do this for so many years! The parties, the parades, the whole thing – what an experience!

What are the odds that we would both be there, in the same place, at the same time. She looked as startled as I felt. Both of us tried not to show it. What else could we do!

What function does “Let’s talk” perform? Is there some kind of magic here? Is all going to be better? It anything going to move forward?

The hoop was there, just as it always way. Part of a barrel or something … I don’t know. All I know is that ever since I have been coming here the hoop has been there.

Desert – the bane of my existence! I love it – and it loves me! It stays with me forever! There is no such thing as a “no calorie” desert!

“That will certainly be a blemish on his record!”
“You act like you are happy about that!”
“Well, not exactly happy, but he was acting in a conscious manner, and knew that he was very close to crossing professional lines.”

His sleeve brushed her arm, and she blushed. Last night was memorable, and now they were back into the real word, the world where no one could know that they were together. Why did this have to be, and how had she gotten into this? It didn’t really matter, because when they were together life was good, and that was all that mattered.

The temple was the highlight of our trip! It was amazing … all those twists and turns, the recesses, the artwork. One would never guess the violent history that was played out there.

The palette was intense – vibrant, filled with all of the colors of the rainbow. I was rather surprised that this came from an artist that normally tended toward dark colors, and rather drab settings.

Look … over there! Isn’t that a stunning gown! It shimmers beautifully … the lady wearing it was quite right to keep jewelry to the minimum … any more than simple earrings and the drop necklace would have taken away from the gown itself.

I watched him beckon to her from across the room. Their eyes met, and she stiffened. He was the very last person int he world that she wanted to see on that night. She didn’t want to have to deal with the chaos that he brought with him.

“What a beautiful view! You can see lights forever from here!”
“Yes, that is one of the things that I like about city life. At night, I can look out, and there are lights for miles and miles … seemingly forever.”

“Sneaky … I told you that boy was sneaky!”
“Now, Gram … he knocked on the back door because you didn’t hear him at the front door. All he wanted to do was deliver your groceries!”

Platinum … such a high standard. Yet … is it? Do we tend to put names to things, then call them good? How is platinum different from gold, or even silver? Does the availability of something push its value up or down? Does the lack do the same?

There is no return address on this letter. I didn’t think that the post office would accept a letter without a return address. I wonder if I should open it. It could be one of those anthrax letters, where I open it, inhale the powder and die!

Isn’t that a beautiful centerpiece! The lovely holly leaves, beautiful red berries, red and white carnations, and the tall red candle in the middle! So simple, yet so elegant!

That is something that I will never, ever do. To blindly obey someone, or something, is a virtual death sentence. You will have given your power to another person, and stopped being a co-creator of your own life.
