What is skylight. I don’t know if it means light from the sky or if it means like I have a hole in my ceiling… skylight. I am really bad at this. Why couldn’t the word have been dog or candy…

There’s a dilemma in everything. Dilemma’s are problems, and problems have solutions. No matter what you do, you may find a problem or barrier, but you can always fine the solution to get passed it. No dilemma is too big to hold you back from what you love. Dilemmas are there to show you’re stronger than it is.

I entered the ballroom that night. The pleasant sound of that beautiful waltz came into my ear. All the sudden, I didn’t care that I hadn’t come with a man. I danced by myself.

One day, a little girl named Ellie was climbing a tall tree. “Come down!” her mother shouted, worried. Ellie didn’t listen. She wanted to see the entire neighborhood from the top.

A badge doesn’t mean that you won something. No body should compete for just the badge. It is the feeling of pride, the feeling of accomplishment that everyone should work towards. Winning a badge doesn’t prove anything.

I waited for him. The plane was close. The excitement was too much to bare. We have waited months, days…years for this. I stood at the terminal, my heart beating out of my chest….the crowd flowed endlessly. I stood on my toes, looking for a familiar face….He never showed.

The eggs got broken on the way home. I suggested we stop and rest, because mother was looking ill, but she waved me off and refused my help with the groceries

To not move was the goal. I want to blend in to the background. To never be noticed by others is bliss. Let mushrooms invade my lungs, and moss invade my heart. I could turn into a lonely hollow tree, but as long as I never move, all is good.

Tim is so juvenile… He thinks that everything is a darn game! When he is at school, he plays jokes as if he were in second grade. A whoopie cushion on the 10th grade science teacher’s chair, a pencil in is his ear… He is never going to get a girl with that attitude.

time. it moves so fast. it also moves really slow. is time really linear? Doesn’t history repeat itself, I thought life was more of a cycle. The circle of life. Why are timelines even a thing? Measured moment.

I was about six years old when my mother first read The Chronicles of Narnia aloud to us. This was my first introduction to fantasy, and that event lead to a love of the genre being instilled in me. It was further cultivated when I read the The Hobbit at age 11. To this day it remains my favorite genre.

A writer is like a magician. While the latter casts spells with the wave of the wand, a writer paints pictures and invokes emotions with the movement of a pencil across a blank page. Perhaps this form of conjuring is not as glamorous as a wizard’s, and yet anyone who has read the written word is well familiar with the power it can carry.

being swell. Interesting. I mean, I don’t want to swell up, because I could swell up too much, and that wouldn’t be a pretty mess to clean up. Just having one swell thing to happen to you a day would be the best thing to have in life. Such as a surprise party for just being YOU. Awesome. No, swell.

The word swells into water because of the water. Your body swells because of water or low oxygen, such as on an airplane. You can also have a swell attitude towards something…such as icecream or a family relative coming to visit. That’s such a swell time, isn’t it? It’s a great description. Don’t you think? It’s a swell description.

Something you do over and over again that you just do it and it eventually becomes a habit. A method reminds me of something you do in science class. You do it for so long you get tired of it and eventually it becomes a habit, not a method anymore.

hot and sweaty. pools and cold water, lemonade with real slices of lemon in the glass. beautiful summer nights and fireflies in mason jars. watermelon eating on the porch, seed spitting competitions and family and friends. happiness.

There was a kitten who perched on the roof of it’s owners as if it were it’s throne. It yearned for a life of adventure, looming in the trenches of rain gutters

The Amish people are very simple. They use no electricity and use horses as their mode of trnsportion. Which I find, ironically, to be a very complicated way to live. Plus, I couldn’t live without my electricity. The dark can be scary without a GIANT flashlight, not just a puny candle.

The library is one of my favorite places that I just don’t go to enough! I love getting lost in the world of books. There is something about books that have such an impact that television will luckily never match. As a teacher I hope to always spread my love for reading and when I am a mother there will be frequent trips to the library.

the most dominant person in the world would be the most awful person to get along with. someone who is a good balance between dominant and not dominant is what is needed. someone cannot be too wishy-washy. a slight amount of dominance is needed. but if they were too dominant, it was would be an unbalanced relationship. and that isn’t good to have to deal with.

ooo i love chewing gum. but once in health we watched this video about a woman who eats gum everyday and several pieces of gum everyday and one day she got this sickness or disease, i can’t remember. This is because she ate sugar-free gum and she thought that it is healthier than gum with sugar. Turns out its the same with zero coke they ARE sugar free but they still contain sweetener which makes them sweet. Manipulation these days.
