Bright yellow lights lit her face. A general chattering filled the air. Those were the days…

You ever just look at a pane of glass and think about all the tiny bubbles trapped inside. The way they shine at their edges when the light hits it just right?

A storm, brewing with slow might and destructing with vicious convict. It sits in quicksand at the base of their bellies, a heavy weight of dread, meteoric to swallow up any other sensation that dares to dwell nearby. Yet they let it fester, allow it to torment from the inside out until, they too, are consumed by the tsunami that holds them just below the surface, become wedged into the fault lines of the earthquake where their bones obliterate.

The flavor of old stale morning coffee in grandma’s house. The color of a late November day that dragged on and on.

The horizon glowed a red hue as the two drove down the empty highway. The road seemed to go on forever, and the people in the car didn’t know where they were going or if they’d ever get there; they only knew that they had each other.

The horizon seemed to span on forever as the two drove. They didn’t know where they were going, just that they were going there together. The pair smiled dimly at each other and clasped hands before breaking eye contact and staring at the empty road.

One day I was with my mom and we were going to a steadfast I don’t know what it is but I like to try new things! After we were done we went back home and I wanted to do it all over again. Maybe you could try going to one too!

going to sleep now. soundly. swiftly. sleep like a baby. dreaming of sheep. counting them too. but nothing is better than a mother’s lullaby. lulling you in like the ocean does with the sound of its waves.

March of the Barbie Dolls
Louis Vuittons clattering as one down dimly lit halls
Manicured hands daintily clutch at their second hand textbooks
Want everything
Are nothing

And error.
Trials in court, trials for sports.
The world is a trial, life is a trial.
We are constantly judged and pitted against others.
This is the world. The world is sad.

A key is meant for opening things, lost things, things you search for. Rooms that are closed, not within your reach or imagination. That’s why keys are different. Each serves a single purpose.

I stuck a bandage over my finger. I wanted to stick another one on, but I felt like I would be wasting them, but it hurt so much. I felt like dying. Fuck. Bandages can’t fix me.

I think that patent means diarya. You can get it by eating the red berry’s that grow in the forest. I hate diarya.

Bricks. Bricks are good and red and solid. Bricks symbolize the old way, the strong way, the good way of doing things. all the best houses are brick, and have vines growing on them. Everyone should have a brick house in their lives.

I can’t eat mints. Every time I do I think of toothpaste. And horrible fake-tasting mouthwash. Yuck. I like the smell of it though – especially in the morning when I use the mint shampoo. It’s the only thing that will wake me up most days.

It was everywhere, popping everywhere. It was a sea of white Styrofoam, packing the children together. Hands popped up, screaming lips fought for air. Some were laughing, a crazed laughter that echoed of the linoleum walls and aluminum floors.

It was somewhere in the middle of nowhere, around the time of no return. The man in the car had been driving for a while…sometime between forever and never. At some point in time, he swerved and crashed. Into what? It was gone when he went to inspect.

fireflies are everywhere tonight. I remember ctaching them as a kid. placing them in jars to light my room as I fell asleep. I always awoke with all of them dead.

Vows are supposed to be eternal, unbreakable; they are to connect two people in a bond that should remain unbroken!

But we humans are fragile things, and we cannot always keep our promises. We are weak, but still full of hope.

A flip of a coin is an interesting thing. We leave our fate up to chance and go with a coin. Heads or tails?

Heads I win, tails you lose
