The compass of my life is slowly settling down so I can see the way to go. One novel written now needs to be actively marketed to agents or maybe later self-published. Then I will be on course for my retirement years in the sun – actually and metaphorically.

Interest rates are rubbish at the moment. It isn’t worth having any money so I’m trying to pay off the mortgage instead. Is anyone interested in interest rates? Well we all should be one way or the other.

Never let your guard down, that’s what I say. The buggers are out to get you – and the will. Maintain a straight face. Don’t let them see what you’re thinking and smile at all times. Like a boxer, be aware at all times

A doorknob is an extremely useful device attached to doors that helps us open them. Life could be extremely difficult without doorknobs. I believe smashing down every door you came to could become tiring.

There was a lantern sitting out at dusk, amidst the rampant wind and the cursory crab grass. It sat on the edge of an old wooden porch, nonchalantly surveying the darkened woods.
There was a tavern at the end of the world where nothing but time sat.

The time that has already passed that you can do nothing to change except th decisions of others and of yourself cam be viewed differently from the present. It is what makes us the world and human race that we are today, purely by just existing.

At the ranch in Wyoming we walked down to the road to moon cars. A car stopped and two angry Russians got out with guns. We all ran and hid in the sage brush holding our breath

woah man, put the wrench down… can’t we just talk this out? no need for violence my good sir. Coffee? Cookies? Can i get anything for you? HA is it bad that when i hear “wrench” i think about a crazy dude about to kill me with a wrench? I hate how my mind creates these insane scenarios. I feel like my mind and life are just some crazy comedic television show. A really bad one too… like the ones on Nickelodeon or disney hahaha ew. You know what i’m talking about though right? Where the character imagines the scenario if this or that happened or if it went a different way. You know what i’m talking about… i’m just awful at explaining things haha

Oh no! I dropped my unicorn! I don’t know why i think about that, “Dropped” is just such a unfortunate word. I don’t think I’ve ever heard it used in a positive way. You dropped the ball, loser.

ugh. don’t even get me started… well, i guess i have to … thats the whole point of this website right? Well anyways, reports are awful.. Unless you’re really passionate about the topic you’re reporting on, goodluck finishing it. Goodness gracious. They take forever and most teachers/ bosses don’t give you positive feedback. I mean, if you’re going to give me a hardtime about getting it done, the least you could do is say “hey, good work” three words. thats it. three words for 10,000 words. Reports are the offspring of teachers or bosses that are too lazy to think up of something more beneficial to our time. For any teacher or boss reading this, you don’t want to admit it but.. when you gotta get a grade or a performance rating in, what is asked of us? Thats right, a report.

She lacked any definition. One of those personalities that could be mistaken for anyone. No eccentric qualities, no strange quirks, not even an interesting hoby. Just the indistinct girl with mousey hair.

I don’t have very good reflexes. My eyes don’t work too well with my limbs. I’m tall. This makes it difficult. Reflexes are important for sports. Reflexes are pretty much important for everything in life. So it sucks that I don’t have them.

It was only ever a waltz.
We span across the ballroom, the faces of the people became a blur of colour,
and for a second I felt
Then we’d stopped.
trying to regain my balance.
I looked around, my eyes searching the room.
But he was gone.

i miss the gentle breezes of the spring air. i wish he would touch my neck gently or whisper his soft sweet nothings in my ear like he used to.
gentle is not a word used often any more.
our world is harsh

I gentely pressed my smallest finger to the leaf and the ladybird crawled on to my hand. I was careful to keep very still, so as not to startle it, before I squeezed my hand into a fist. Killing the ladybird.

the track that leads to no where. I am alone, desitute and complete abandoned by a society of no hopers who seem to think that I am the sole route of their problems
the track only leads in one direction
and its suffocating. the path narrows and i can hardly breath
It leads me to the grave yard.

Money, the bain of our world.
we’re left here to consider what materialistic values the humble coin leaves us with.
money is responsible for the neglect of those who need our help and protection.
for the corruption of those who know better.
lovers of money be damned!
we shouldn’t constrict ourselves by the common dollar. there are more important things in life than the “wide brown dollar note”

George never believed in manuals or instructions, no matter how frustrated he grew with whatever he was assembling he always refused to even look at the manual. He was like that with life , never asking for help or guidance, too proud to admit he needed it. Then it was too late.
