Crafty? Haven’t heard about or seen this word in a while. I guess I can say, my mother is quite crafty in her quirky but loving ways. She has a vivid imagination and creates great projects for her store. Writing wise, I guess I can say I get it from her. Talent wise but smartness not really.

I never did occur to me that i was the only to possess this power… this power to lie. It was unknown to anyone else as they where programmed to only tell the truth. i however decided to use this new found power to free me. and my brothers, from the slave life to those apes, those things we call humans.

The water soothed his parched throat as he swallowed quickly, forgetting to breathe for a moment as he chugs the bottle of water. The sun beat down on him and he wiped away sweat forming on his brow.

Witches, Women with the name Hilda who sweep in houses far away from her Norwegian homeland. Houses with children and wives and husbands and babies. Even houses without any of the normalcy. Dirty spaces. Mice and rats. Drats.

As I opened the door a sudden surge of warmth hit me. There was activity everywhere, buzzing people darting around excitedly clambering for a better view.

I met a two year old today. My friend was babysitting her for her friend so she could go to her first day at her new job. She was so loud, but my friend kept shushing her. I felt bad that she was keeping a little kid quiet like that.

What is ordinary? Who decides what is ordinary, normal average? Everyone has a different understanding of what is ordinary or mundane or day to day. When do you make the switch from ordinary to extraordinary?

I am a resident of San Antonio. When I first moved to Texas, I really didn’t want to become a Texan. I had very negative stereotypes of the ignorant redneck Texan cowboy who hates anyone different than themselves. But my new hometown broke all those views for me. I love my city now and am proud to say that I live in San Antonio.

Political influence has such a dirty reputation. Anymore, people hear the term and automatically think of a shifty, maniacal billionaire holding large financial donations over the heads of the desperate politicians they control. But there is still strength and value in people power. We’re beginning to see that when the citizens of the US stand up and speak with one voice, they can drown out the single voice of the selfish, wealthy donor.

I once retook an exam in college and cheated. I have never told anyone about it. I am so ashamed of myself, but it helped my grade. It was an entry level English midterm and the professor put me in a room alone with a computer with internet access and I looked up an answer.

Walking through the hallway was the man in dress shoes. His every step sounded off with a click and echoed throughout the empty hall.

My roommate has an empty bottle shaped like Buddha. It used to have beer in it. It’s always struck me as kind of ironic since I first saw the bottle. Beer definitely does not lead to piece and enlightenment for most people. Who thought it would be funny to sell beer in a Buddha bottle?

I hate the outdoors. Well, to be more accurate, I could enjoy the outdoors if they didn’t hate me so much. I burn after 10 minutes in the sun, I am allergic to any and every plant, any blood sucking bugs will fly or crawl for miles to bite me. We have a complicated relationship.

Slow and steady wins the race, just keep going at your very own pace. That was a song lyric from a tape that my parents played on repeat when we would get in the car when I was little. I still remember all the words to the chorus of that song and it plays in my head whenever I read or hear the word steady.

Maintaining balance can be a difficult thing. It is difficult to walk in a straight line, especially if you’ve been drinking or if you have an inner ear infection. Similarly, it can be difficult to metaphorically keep a straight line in your mental health when you are being buffeted by negative thoughts, depression, anxiety.

I have been going to counseling for about 8 months now. I change counselors every 8-9 weeks due to the nature of the program I am in. It has been very interesting to see the differences in approaches of the various counselors I have worked with. My current counselor is very formal, but seems very thorough. She asks good questions that really get me thinking.

I remember back in Middle School having to do some type of economic project that involved the word but that was a few years ago. I know what the word means but I don’t know how to write about it. I might need a new word something more creative and unique, sorry :)

Cute is when you see your crush bite his lip <3
What I find cute is the way he writes so elegantly, cursive to perfection!
I think he is cute, his personality is cute, the way he speaks is cute.

If I remember, the last time I was fractured or had something fractured was when I fell out of the giant maple tree that was sitting in front of my house as gorgeous as it was. I fracture just my arm and had it put into a cast for a few weeks…this happened to me a few years ago. Back when I was like 13 years old, I believe.

I have been misunderstood countless of times,
It’s hard being the middle child.
It’s like speaking a different language that nobody
I have always felt misunderstood but I wish that the
words that I speak and the stories that I tell can show
the bigger pictures…pieces of me that can be understood!
