apologetic

i don’t aplogize. theres nothing wrong with them i just dont see the point in them. the way i see it, the only reason people apologize is to pretent that what they did didnt effect anyone.

delight

in between the cracks and
the bleached white tiles,
past all the messy bits
of me
of you,
spilt half across
our shampoos and
razor headed mirrors
fogged up by
the broken shower handle
that only ever managed
to burn
to scold
to seesaw between ends,
I’ll hold you to my chest.
It’s in times like these
I want to bury you to my chest
crush
all your bones and
cloak your huddled
mind in
my arms.
I hold you,
in between the whens and wheres
puked up guts
the full hearted attempts
your vacant hands always fail at.
I hold you,
with a fading delight
that you failed
once
twice
and even
a thrice.

stilts

We’re walking on stilts
careful now
through the calamity
that is
you
silently as the apostles grow
and your waters seep
deeper
into
the water table of
bricks, cannonballers and unbeaten wounds.
But, love,
meter high stilts can’t prepare
for
that unopened letter
with that unopened diagnosis.

glowing

So this was what is what. This is the thing poets wrote of, singers sung over and soldiers fought with. It’s mine now, and my cold hands won’t ever let go. This frail and fragile thing is what keeps me alive, this fickel thought that burns. It’s glowing, don’t you see, it’s glowing. My hope, it’s glowing.

It was dark out. Not the kind of dark children are scared of, the dark where you can sense evil watching you. I wished, yearned, hope so desperately with the fickel substance of my heart that something would break this madness. I felt like I was dying, the trouble was, you see, I couldn’t breath.

almost

You’re almost there, sweetie. Yes, almost, not quite, but almost just don’t let anything hold you back, let I all go, because in a while, and with a little help from your friends, you will be there. You’ll make it. Just let it all go and take the plunge.

Mango is kinda gross. Not my favorite. Tastes tangy. I like strawberries more. Sorry Mangos…

skate

To skate along thin ice seems to be where my life is pulling me. So far the fine line holds and I am along for the pleasant ride. It’s all a fragile equilibrium, though. A careful balancing act. Tilt too far in one direction, venture out too far, and in one fatal flash crack second you could be plunged into freezing cold water.

cards

Ugh, cards. I hate business cards especially because everyone knows they don’t want you to get in touch with them but they want you to know they have enough notoriety to own business cards.

Birthday cards? As long as there’s money in em it’s good.

Wedding cards. Peeshaw.

The best cards are playing cards and card stock for printing.

acting

Acting… it can either be a person on a movie or a person you’re talking to. The only difference is that the person you’re talking to is suffering from cognitive dissonance and the people on the movies are suffering from excess money.

troops

There were so many soldiers, line after line they stood on the hill underneath the burning summer sun. There were several troops of these sizes, ready to go into battle and fight ’till the death. They didn’t care about surviving. All they wanted was to win.
