It was a dark night. That was pedantic. Every night is dark, to be honest. But night was her special time. It was the time when she was alone with no one but her pillows and her blankets and her room transformed from her solitude into her domain.

Vines are long like plants. Grapes grow on these. They can have leaves, thorns, and sometimes even branches. Vines grow in jungles, fenceposts, and other things like that. The sometimes get tangled in things.

Beware, an interesting word. Usually bringing forth feelings of dread, images of empty scenes and scary parks. All saying “Beware” “Beware of dog” “Stay out”
What if it means “Be aware?”
Why does nobody analyze words this way?

Oh, lord, house of lords, the lord of my life where forth are the ladies and lords of England? What about Shakespeare and his great and mighty lords? Do the Lords of Dog Town in California ring any bells for anyone? I love the Lord. The God Almighty Lord. The word lord has many connotations and for me the Lord is Jesus Christ is the ultimate Lord of lords.

The arts can be defined as many different things. Some can used to visually show you something and are meant to just entertain you. Others are hidden skills thats people obtain. For example, visual arts can be paintings, drawings, sculptures, etc.

When I go on my cruise in March I’ll be staying in a cabin with a window and two beds. Oh I just can’t wait! Every day brings me that much closer to what I want most. 61 more days!

It was a cold day. My skin was puckered and blue, making my scar stand out more than normal. It had been years since that night…since Texas, and it was strange that my scar was the only thing that had remained constant — my only reminder of what had been. God, it had all faded away so fast.

i don’t know what this word means, but it sounds like clover, and those are really pretty. All my life i have strived to find a four leaved clover, but my mission has not been yet completed. I remain in wonder if i will ever find one.

What am I supposed to write about an umbrella? It’s an umbrella for pete’s sake! I can’t say I have anything against them but when it’s not raining – what good are they? I always leave mine lying around the house and it always seems to get in the way. But on he one day that it starts raining…BAM! No umbrella in sight.

I am not afraid of thunder. Some people are but I am not. My dog is a different story though. I find myself having to calm her down in the middle of a heavy thunder storm as if she was my own small child. Not being able to have children of my own I cherish the opertunity to act motherly to at least one living creature before I die.

I was expecting a new word. I already wrote a story about expecting.
The anticipation, the fear. Expecting the worst.
Okay that’s it. Come on. I want another word, NOW.
I will be expecting a new word next time…. hmgfph

I was expecting phone call. One that will determine my fate.
Will I get to stay? Or will my life suddenly turn around? All my luck fade could away, and all I could do was wait.

I failed my parents this year when I didn’t get better grades than next year. Not because they want me tonbe perfect but becausenthey know I can do much better. I do not see this failure as a completely bad thing because it it from this failure that I have gained the motivation to do better next year. I have failed but it will not happen again.

We drove past the intersection, Jimmy had something blaring in his headphones. Grandma asked him to turn it down, but he didn’t hear. The road wound ahead of us like a frozen, gray snake, my stomach churned. I knew he wouldn’t be the same when we saw him, that he would just be a dried out husk of the old man he used to be.

Tiny prickly bugs crawl all over the blankets and sheets. Or maybe they don’t, and I’m just imagining them. Oh, how I’d love to tell truth from reality some day. Until then it’s the couch.

Scratch, bite, pick, glance, check, double check.
Eventually they would all add up,
She would become their slave,
Her actions solely involuntary.

Its up in the sky and bright. I love how it lights my 3am walks, it changes a city from a dark foreboding place into something less sinister.

I was overjoyed… it felt good. the worlds were in the right place and so were our bodies intertwined and feeling elated with love and passion and a little bit of guilt.

I don’t know anything about this word. I mean, English is not my native language, so what the fuck “revolt” does even mean? I dunno. So, whatever. Am I writing with some particular purpose? Is this a psychological excercise or something? Cause, I don’t know. I’m a first-timer here.
So, how are you? Who are you?
P.S. I’m done. My name is Alisa. I still don’t know what’s revolt. I guess I should have checked it out…

I don’t get it, she said.
How could two lines going in opposite directions ever meet?
And I said,
Just look at us.

Sat at the dock with my best friend and a flash light. Music camp, the popular kids were sitting in the boat house telling ghost stories, and my friend and I kept flashing the light into the boat house just to mess with them. Until one of them got pissed and yelled at us.

grids are weird. and boring. and remind me of math class. which i was bored in. and i usually just drew on the sides of the homework because math and grids are boring and irritating, and required me to think about things i didn’t care about. however, i did use grids to draw pretty patterns in later on, that was really fun. i loved those drawings. they were very creative.

it’s black and white, or it can be brown. it’s a wonderful animal, and it gives us milk. they are so peaceful when they graze in fields. I love going on car rides and seeing them in the fields. They are adorable when they are babies, and such gentle animals. It’s also too bad that they are so tasty too.
