i don’t have many secrets. I don’t like when people are secretive or when people are hiding things. I wish everyone could be more open and honest in life. I wish life was more innocent.

I picked up the final bullet casing, to use as evidence in the lab and for court, from the cold wet pavement in the alley, the girl laying near the dumpster was aged no more than twenty-five or so and her pale blank face would haunt me forever.

48 Christmas card out.
to be opened only days before Christmas.
some hallmark mass marketed message on the inside,
a smiling reindeer on the front.
merry Christmas.

Yeah I can say I’m a believer, faeries, trolls, monsters pretty much anything that goes bump in the night an can also cast a protection or invisibility spell on occasion. I also believe in God, and the gods of mount Olympus, Harry Potter and Charlie Bone.

The way her little body moves up the stairs reaching for the highest thing she can grab. Her arms and legs flail as she angrily argues with me. The way she rolls her eyes, and ignores you as you try to help with advice. You stand there amazed at the young woman you’ve raised. She sits in her room amazed with all the stuff she can put you through.

she bent and weaved through the sky. violent winds whipped her swiftly back and forth. one loud crack and she was down. never to get back up. its funny how things work out for most but for a willow you can bend and bend and never break

her teeth,
crooked while young.
fell out.
straightened with braces,
such awkward teen years.
smiled on her wedding day.
and were still intact as she laid in her coffin 75 years later.
such a warm loving smile as hers will be missed, but lives on in many hearts forever.

nailing one board to another the hot sun beating down. sweat drips off of the tip of his nose. building a home, a place to hang his hat.

Paint my nails. Do my hair. A little bit of blush, Ironed dress, sitting in the hall waiting. eight. eight forty five, nine ten. you’ve missed out more than once. I’m not sure what i expected this time.

Ha. Does it even exsist I love the idea of being practical but its just not practical to be practical to get something or anything done you have to be the outlier of everything that is practical. always sharpening your skills to be more than just practical. To be Practical is, in a way, to be close minded.

i hear the banjo playing as i’m running through the cold forrest, the pine needles sticking to the souls of my feet. the sounds of the banjo ringing in my ears as i run, clear as day, slowly fading as i push back tears. there is only one way to escape all this but i’m stuck.

they had had me trapped in the small dark room for the past few days and by holding my ear up to the cold cell walls i could her them chanting, worshipping whatever god they had. everyday when the sun was the highest in the light blue bursting sky.

it was the supreme ordeal. they had no idea what to do. they were trapped with only seconds before the room would begin to fill with water, three. they looked around the room for any signs of possible escape. two, they found nothing. one, they panicked as the heard a booming sound coming for them.
