The visitor. He was still standing at the door step awaiting an invite from my brother. I could see my brothers hostile eyes once the surprise wore of his face, and I didn’t even dare look the tall, strange man in the eye. When my brother didn’t seem to wail by the door, the man sighed, and in a rusty, hopeless voice he said “I’ve come to see my daughter.”

Going under
down down
into the deep
Under the inky ocean surface

The wind takes me away
As I sail upon tranquil waves
Only dark ocean meets the eyes
As I turn to say goodbye
Cause it’s all already gone
Another chapter ended
I’m out here and so alone
None of the wounds were mended
But now it’s all already gone
It is too late to turn back home
I’ll wander and I’ll roam
Where the wind blows, I’ll go

If there ever was an easy way out, I would take it without blinking. Hell, I would start walking with my eyes closed, my arms tied behind my back. Even if I’d knock myself out on the way I could always get up again and find the right path. So different from now, when held in place by all the expectations, all the lies, the past, the future, where every decision made seems to have no effect.

Frosty air
Wet asphalt
Flickering streetlights
lighting up a dark silhouette in the
far distance
Soon invisible against a starless sky
Too soon

Alpha. He runs with leaps so sure, like he knows every stick, every stone, and where every grain of dirt is located beneath him. And the others follow, feeling his fear, trusting his ability to find a safe place.

The fear is entirely dominating.

A sticky, gooey mass running down with a greenish light and the smell og bubbly acid.

It’s like heaven is smiling down upon you, the rain turning to drops of perfection as they suddenly sparkle in sunhine that’s passing through the dark clouds. You’re looking up from underneath the ocean surface, seeing the little bits of sun find their way through the waves. They reach so far somtimes, into the deepest of darknesses, and they surround you while the water is cradling your soul. All you feel is perfect harmony.

I see signs now
All the time
In the waking hour
And while I’m sleeping

I see signs
of you in dreaming
But you are running
All of the times.

(super inspired by bloc party’s song btw)

Auxiliary- Help, assist and one of the things that this world needs most. Why is it sooo hard to find proper auxiliary in a time that we most need it? Is selfishness a part of our human nature?? Yes to most people but we do have those selfless people that constantly give us hope :)

Detention. Pencils scribbling, naughty whispers, stolen looks, muffled screamo music, fingers tapping, and feet thumping the beat to inaudible, miserable melodies too bored and too careless to give themselves away.

You can’t expect an uninspired mind to come up with something about the word “science” when you’ve just watched a couple of Gossip Girl episodes and that’s the most exciting thing happening in your life right now.

He gives me chills. The way he looks at me. The way he strokes his fingers down my spine, the way he tucks a lock of hair behind my ear, the way his voice sounds so familiar and loving and safe and dangerous all at once.

Saturday. The warm sun warming my skin, a soft breeze strokes my bare arms as I walk alone in the city. In the small alleys are cats bathing in the sun as well, enjoying the simplicity of life on such a beautiful day.

Primitive. Grass growing, earth shaking, rivers running peacefully down white mountain peaks and green coated hills. Birds chippering with life.

Young, pure voices harmonizing like golden strings knitting perfectly together while finding their way towards the top circle of the cathedral, complementing the paintings of angels playing their heavenly song.

clouds moving apart, letting the sun shine through, a ray of hope among the lonesome in the streets that once were grey

Black coal smothers the radiant beauty of the ruby underneath, obscuring a forsaken glimmer of hope.

I stopped in the trail for a while, looking up to the darkening grey sky, wishing it would give me some kind of a sign, something that would give me an idea of what to do. Splash! I turned around in a whirl, and saw the blurry figure of a green frog disappearing in the grass. I guess I kept him waiting for too long.

One sentence, one wish repeating in my brain, while I lay my head down, eyes heavy with sleep: Dreamcatcher, please save me until dawn.

Long lost mash-up songs
in a circle of dreams
with the stars above listening
to forgotten memories.

Actually, the only context I’ve seen the work ‘crescent’ in, is the phrase “the crescent moon”. It suddenly makes the moon sound more exquisite and exotic, not to mention that you will seem smarter of you use it in your text, especially if you include it in a school paper when English is your second language.

I was lifted up so fast I forgot to breathe on the way, and while looking down I saw the world get smaller and smaller, all the little people milling around the streets like confused ants and the buildings looking like bricks from a game of monopoly.

We’re sitting on the ski lift; Hannah, Jessie and I, the wind catching our hair and the snowflakes brushing against our red cheeks. We’re going upwards to the highest mountain top, not dearing to look down, but hoping to touch a piece of heaven.

He owned diamonds, snowflakes, fire and the horizon, and he had the key to the chamber beyond the stars. He came on a black night, looking for shelter, with a star peeking through rafters. And in the night the sleepy child peacefully lay among the beasts.

Everybody says I gotta find the right track and stay on it. That’s when I’ll reach success. But if I stay on only one track all the way, then where can I explore the new adventures and all the possibilities waiting for me just behind those trees or on the other side of the river?

We went into the maze, nervous and me, so paranoid I couldn’t help myself from looking around in all directions. Clinging on to my friends arm, I could barely pull myself together after the monstrous, shadowy zombie popped up from nowhere and surprised us with throwing a bunch of plastic spiders in our direction. I screamed and ran out of there.

I adopted a baby kitten once. She was beautiful tri-colored, white, grey and light brown, and her green eyes were so green and understanding, but so hollow with hunger I just couldn’t leave her outside in the cold winter night. My dad agreed to take her in temporarily. Guess what? Now she has a new home and her name is Luna Lovecat.

Like the butterfly that shows its brilliant wings with pride against the cloudy sky, I want to fly high and shine bright, even if I only had one day to live.
