aura

Her aura was delightful. Everytime he stood next to her, he felt that the world was a better place. He felt that hope came busting into his heart. There was something about this girl. Something special. He didn’t what that was exactly, but he was determined to find out.

centerpiece

A centerpiece is something that is the center of attention. For example, perhaps you would see a crow in the midst of pigeons. That crow is the center piece of the whole picture. If an artist had painted or drawn it, he or she would have probably wanted the crow to be the centerpiece of the whole creation.

confined

I can feel how the amount of air in here is decreasing. It’s getting warmer, more smothery. But I can’t seem to find a way out of here. The walls are dancing and coming closer. I can’t find a way out of here.

taboo

What you want to say, but can’t. What you think about doing, but would never ever tell anyone about. Forbidden.

somebody

this is not a pop song about somebody that i used to know. this is everything you could have ever hoped for, embellished in a small box at the bottom of my lungs. i scream and scream for a boy to come pack it up, unpack me with his fingers, open me up with his tongue.

various

various things happens in ones life. everything can be looked at from various points of views. i feel that i am having various experiences at the same times. various is a funny world when you say it over and over again. even just in your head. i wish various things would happen soon. various things from various different departments of life. all good of course.

fawn

i saw her in a picture with a fawn. like every picture it was perfect. it showed her happy. she always seemed happy. and like always i wondered how she managed to do that. what made it possible for her to be so happy? and more importantly, why was i not that happy? i was really asking myself that.

hundred

there are things i would like to do a hundred times and things i would not like to do a hundred times. but maaybe once i have done them that often i want to do them again and the relationship to that number changes again. are we having relationships with numbers? when they are just being 1 all over again all the time. things happen once. and once. and once. but still think that we connect them to the past and the present and therefore a one becomes a different number. one and many at the same time. someone in physics would have a name for that. i just have the thought that maybe i have not been mindful of my ones. and one should always be the number that is closest to the heart. i would still like to look back at lots one 100 good things. there are a few that suit that number. 100 times that someone made me a surprise lunch at work. becaus the best things sometimes are good because they only happen once. marriage. for example is one. other things can happen twice or three times. but a hundred is a weird number. or maybe it is just a 1.

skeleton

a skeleton has borders… that doesn’t make sense. Skeletons are for the mexican day ofthe dead, when people celebrate with the dead, instead of fear them. Skeletons are inside your closet when you have tons of secrets to keep.

painted

I sat on the scaffolding in the blaring summer sun, can of paint in hand. I was sweating profusely, the white paint reflecting the sun so it hurt my eyes. My music was blaring and my arms hurt, but I was content. It was summer.

tempted

I would watch him from across the room. Once or twice our eyes met, and my body shivered. He was not handsome in the sense most people think, and I thought he was the most interesting person I had ever met. But I knew he wasn’t good for me, we’d never work, but I couldn’t help but fall in love…

heels

Heels are the bottom of your shoe. They are the bottom of you foot at the back. Don’t lean too far back on them because you might fall over! Uh oh!!!!! That would be sad! Your heels are The “nobby” parts of your foot at the back! So fun! He he!

wool

Wool. You know I once read that it’s best to drink scotch when you’re wearing a wool sweater. I guess that means that scotch is a winter drink. Must have something to do with the way it goes down and pretty soon all you feel is that warmness in your belly, comforting like a hearth.

boost

He knelt, offering his knee for her to use. She stepped heavily on it and vaulted herself onto the horse. “Thanks,” she said quietly.

tarnished

Metal, glasses; it’s the way the woman’s silver looks when she’s forgotten about it. How many years had it been? Ten? Twenty? Dust on the shelves, the old silver still as tarnished as it had been. Perhaps there was a gem somewhere underneath the blackish paint that concealed it. What did she know? She did her best to forget those times. As if she could remember them anyway.

gravel

Gravel makes me think of a house with parking space. Have you ever tried to walk barefoot on gravel, especially gravel with large sharp pebbles? It hurts.

penny

A penny for a thought costs one Abraham Lincoln stamped right onto a copper plated coin. Funny how those coins become worthless and undesirable.

oak

There is an oak tree right beneath the house. Its roots grow up and its branches down. No one knows why this is. Perhaps, it decided one day that it didn’t want to be like every other oak. Just the opposite.

stereo

I have a stereo that I destroyed once. I threw it off my third floor apartment just to see how it would smash. It split open and bled its hundred shards once it hit the pavement below. No worries. Empty street. I let out a triumphant shout 35 feet above.

coffin

A coffin is what they lay you down in when you’re dead if you’re lucky enough. Some people don’t even get a proper burial. A coffin is what Abby sleeps in when she goes home from working in a lab in the TV show NCIS.

install

Today I am installing something in my computer. Then un-installing it when I realize that it doesn’t work at all. It nearly crashed my computer. Installing things get dangerous sometimes. Whether you install it on your computer or not.

mute

I feel like no one listens. I feel mute like I shouldn’t talk because I’ll say what I shouldn’t or no one will care or understand what I’m saying at all. I want to feel comfortable saying what I want. But its hard.

trot

I was trotting along the sidewalk when a car passed by. It screeched to a halt a few yards in front of me. A man got out and started sprinting towards the park. The car’s engine was still running. I have no idea what just happened.
