There’s an old oak tree at my parents house that I grew with. We both reached to the sky, and we both had our lives. Many friends, many ecosystems…
Today the phone rang and a stranger said “the oak was cut down.”
Great grief. As if I lost part of my family.

If you leave a cigarette on the sidewalk no person will come to get it. The ashes cover the cement and we accidentally inhale it when a stray wind comes.
Don’t say you’ve never smoked.

Look at her pristine figure
Tiny hands and twinkling blue eyes
Strands of gold braided into hair
Molded carefully with god’s gentle handle

The touch of your palms would drive me insane
Just like a trip down memory lane
The two of us, blowing milkweed
Setting the seeds free, doing a good deed

I have a piano in the corner of my living room. I played it from the age of 4 to 11 and then lost all interest.
I wasn’t sudden, playing was just slowly losing meaning. I guess I had learned enough to enjoy music.
But yet, there it sits. And yet, I won’t let my mother sell it.

In modern days, you know those crazy ideas you get upon waking up too early? You simply tell them to the world and talk about them with people across countries. And a few minutes later you get out from under the covers to get some coffee.

Breath-taking glass fogged from hot breath
Drops of water like raindrops fall from the eaves
Icy collision with the ground spreads snow
