The glamor shot was gorgeous; hair swept away in the wind, lighting enhancing their facial features to the sharpest angles. Too bad no one would see it. The camera fell to the floor, the model dead.

  • Liz commented on the post, chivalry 6 years, 2 months ago

Chivalry is usually talked about when knights are included, especially ones from medieval times. They need to be brave and kind, heroic and respectful. They need to be handsome as well as muscular, able to fight in battle (and win) and successfully woo a lady.

I don’t know what sundried tomatoes are used for, really. Are they even a real thing? My spell check says “sundried” isn’t a word. You need to reevaluate your word choices.

Their time spent together was worthwhile. Before they knew it, their awkward smiles and slight touches grew in to something more; wanting kisses and pleasurable touches soon replaced what once was as the lovers became lost in each others bodies.

Lots of movies are based off of books; their adaptations are usually fairly well, they stick to the story and only have a few minor plot changes. One movie that I find was a horrible representation of the book was Beautiful Creatures.

Her hand clamped around his throat, choking him as he gasped for air, “Do you like this?” He clawed at her hand, legs swinging over open air. Soon he was unconscious, body going limp; she tossed him to the floor, his unmoving form of no use to her now. “My job is done.”

  • Liz commented on the post, peppers 6 years, 2 months ago

There are so many different types of peppers; you have red, green, and yellow, and probably some other kinds as well. I don’t like peppers, they taste funny. Some people like to dip them in a sauce that makes them taste better, which I agree it does.

His smile captivated her gaze, drawing her closer with every second that past. She was just a few inches from him now, silly smiles on both of their faces. “I love you,” she whispered to him before kissing him tenderly, her hands moving to cup his face as his moved to her sides, their embrace sending shivers down both their spines and warming their hearts.

  • Liz commented on the post, rally 6 years, 2 months ago

We went to a rally today; I’m not sure what it was for, but it was huge. There were tons of people with signs, shouting out the caused they believed in, trying to get people one their side, to “rally” them. It was very interesting, not sure if I’d ever go back again though.

  • Liz commented on the post, vapor 6 years, 2 months ago

Water vapor is the mist you get over boiling water, the thing that condenses on glass, leaving it steamy, or if frozen, iced. You could also be vaporized, everything in your being turning to atoms and becoming non-existent. Lovely, huh?

I stapled the papers together before I handed them in to the teacher. I was confident of my work, but I wasn’t sure how the teacher would react to it. I sat back down after I turned it in, suddenly nervous on what my grade would be.

  • Liz commented on the post, meow 6 years, 2 months ago

“Meow,” called the cat as she brushed up against my legs, showing her liking for me. She jumped up on to my lap and started kneading my stomach, finding her resting place very comfortable. Her tail would flick in contentment as she purred away into sleep, happy with the world.

  • Liz commented on the post, unwritten 6 years, 2 months ago

So many unwritten words, so many thoughts and ideas that aren’t logged or acknowledged. The best, or worst, ideas in history that people will never know about, most of the time because of discouragement. Beautiful stories go unseen because one single person thinks it would be a silly idea, ceasing the story from ever going beyond just a few lines.

Doors, doors, so many doors. One closes and another opens, so many places to go, opportunities to take, people to meet. Monsters Inc. also comes to mind. Trap doors, fairy doors, so many doors.

Hannibal never ate the polite ones, only the rude. He himself always tried to behave his very best, but he could admit that it was not always possible to display the most possible amount of kindness to everyone.

  • Liz commented on the post, stealth 6 years, 3 months ago

The ninja snuck through the garden on his tiptoes, periodically peeking over the hedges to observe the couple in the clearing. He was silent in the night, making no noise. The couple didn’t hear him coming, the woman screaming as her husband’s head was sliced right off of its neck, the assassin gently returning to the shadows.

I don’t even know what this means exactly. Uh… is it like when you strain the water out of something but in the past tense? I don’t know. Crappy first word.
