The little vessel of life. the reserve in the desert. safe keeping and/or entrapment. left behind, survivalism. edification.

The imitation of intelligence. or the self sufficiency of a little box of electricity. metal instead of flesh. The enemy of the only other existential creature. Why? who knows, we want to be selfish with our sorrow(?) although, I guess they wouldn’t have an existential crisis since they would only exist for utilitarian purposes. But […]

To finalize and initialize. to execute. the point where possibility expires into action. Also kind of a dick in terms of corporate America.

  • Nick commented on the post, gym 8 years, 6 months ago

No. All words are not equal. This word is utilitarian. I’m writing this so that it might know it’s place.

  • Nick commented on the post, heels 8 years, 6 months ago

heels, the feminine elevation. the leas attractive part of the foot. I have few thoughts about the body’s most prominent stump honestly.

    A little anti-climatic.

  • Nick commented on the post, wondered 8 years, 6 months ago

wondered. the act of speculation. things I’ve wondered about are rarely enjoyable. wondering is inevitably the act of wishing for some thing better or hoping something goes wrong. not that one should be happy with an unchanging status quo, just that so many wonderings constitutes a lived discontent by means of psychological simulacrum. oh believe […]

  • Nick commented on the post, almost 8 years, 6 months ago

almost. everything but completion; actualization. the sliver of not that removes you from the whole.

So many things that I have almost done and almost will do. These are all the things that cannot be. things that are tantalizingly open. things that I can taste upon in my mind, not visit in memory.

  • Nick commented on the post, final 8 years, 6 months ago

final, oddly punctual. the judgment of fate. fatality. the moment that the single collapses (i/o)nto the whole. the drop of dew that is reflecting in a single millimeter the entire landscape.

  • Nick commented on the post, specific 8 years, 6 months ago

how particular. specific, clearly defined and intended, isolated. the halting of chance or choice, by the enactment of choice. to narrow down and make singular or to remove ambiguity… or is that possible?

  • Nick commented on the post, keychain 8 years, 6 months ago

key chain. guardian of the infinitum of doors. all potentiality.

the sacredness of spaces ensured by exclusivity, the lock.

the hall way lined by the walls and breaks of walls and the midriff of privacy audaciously on display.

  • Nick commented on the post, tables 8 years, 6 months ago

Tables. the common ground. the mesa in the dining room. The holder of bounty, the flattest cornucopia. meeting ground of experience, the center of fragments.

  • Nick commented on the post, barber 8 years, 6 months ago

the holder of secrets. the pair of scissors that also goes by the name confidant. Assuming you are so lucky as to avoid a California vowel eating gumchewer. That image aside, the container of petty secrets.

  • Nick commented on the post, bench 8 years, 6 months ago

The place of waiting. always there is some Forst Gump or othersuch person in wait of transit or change. Mulling away the precious moments that could be recreated but in new and vibrant ways. having made their mental museum, they might stroll down it in their inert posture.

  • Nick commented on the post, mango 8 years, 6 months ago

the tropical fruit. mostly- it reminds me of Manwell Antonio national park. And Porto Rico. spinning tires in the yellow mangoes, afraid the car might slide back down the incline. But on the way down, you could open the door, and pick up one of those golden fruits.

  • Nick commented on the post, outlet 8 years, 6 months ago

outlet. interestingly, the input of power. a vent for the buildup, the shock, the spark, the ahhh, oh yes that orange and summer breeze. that is the outlet.

  • Nick commented on the post, sage 8 years, 6 months ago

sage. oh wize wizard, yes? I don’t prefer to think of sages as wise as much as rebellious, to refuse the popular view of what is real and adopt a second. the rest is just theatrics and trying to sway the world that they have it wrong.

  • Nick commented on the post, invent 8 years, 7 months ago

invent. the act of creation. but that hardly seems fair. not to create (for creating is a far more sacred word) it is the ability to combine. the little building blocks, the -emes of the world pressed into beautiful and terrifying new shapes, the bites we take out of the familiar.

  • Nick commented on the post, tangle 8 years, 7 months ago

tangle. the act of becoming intertwined the confusion of being two in a single space or perhaps the certainty that you have lost what it is that you see as yourself and instead melt into this singular that is separate from yourself. because that- that is something different from alienation.

  • Nick commented on the post, chocolate 8 years, 7 months ago

for real? ha ha ha. lies, to be honest. it’s the sweetness you pour over the bitter. the honey to the poison. little red cut outs. tin foil wrapping and the uncertainty of the waxy mold.

  • Nick commented on the post, microphone 8 years, 7 months ago

Microphone. for making a big voice. the booming oration reserved for the masses in the palm of your hand. too much power for one man? hardly that is the force of an idea.
