• I can see all the divits in my front yard where the armadillas burrow looking for grubs or whatever it is they eat. I need to set a trap so I can catch them and stop them

    The metro area was filled with police cars and federal agents as they hunted for the suspects. Their activities that night had alert authorities who converged on the city from all area. Their hope was that this could be resolved without anymore bloodshed.

    The creature crawled out of the muck and quickly grew into a terrifying and menacing monster. The towns people did not leave their houses at night when the creature lurked in the darkness seeking its nightly meal. If you needed to leave the house after dark; you did so at your own risk.

    He was mumbling something in his sleep and flopping around which made it even more difficult for me to study. I hated studying in the room, but the library was closed and I needed to get the paper done.

    I am attracted to a strong woman. Not physical strength, but mental and emotional strength. There is something sexy about a tough woman. A woman who can deal with what life dishes out to her. A woman that can take the punches life offers and get up smiling.

    His branch of the family tree was full of crazies, drug addicts, and just nare do wells. He couldn’t fathom how all of the problems seemed to come from his dads side of the family. His siblings and their father had perfect normal relatives.

    He threw the anchor over board. They had fished this part of the lake many times and he knew there were plenty of fish in that spot. There were two other spots he wanted to hit before he finished and he wanted to make the most of his time on the water.

    It was in John’s best welfare to get home as soon as possible. He was already late, but it would be compounded by the fact that he missed dinner. His father was adamant about the fact that everyone eat dinner together. There would definitely be repercussions that john did not want to face.

    The dashboard was covered with newspapers. He was trying to get the papers delivered before the rainstorm came through. The papers may still get wet, but at least he wouldn’t be delivering papers and getting wet in the process. He could deal with wet papers. Just not a wet body.

    The trench between the two houses was the lastest in the war that had erupted between the two neighbors. It all started because Mr. Johnson cut back the branches the Mr. Winston’s orange tree to prevent oranges from dropping in his yard.

    The king punished all who did not except his command of giving their wives to him as concubines. The king believed that as an emissary of god that all women in the kingdom belonged to him. The king hoped that he would find a new wife.

    The flour mixture that he used to fry the chicken was season with just the right spices. His chicken always tasted like Kentucky Fried Chicken or popeyes. It didn’t taste like the standard fried at home chicken.

    the vines of grapes looked plump as we walked through the vineyard. It was hard to imagine that all the wine I drank the night before had come from these vines. Someone had gone through the process of preparing the wine and making it just for me to drink.

    The house had vines running up the side of it. It has been neglected for years after the owner passed away. His kids neglected the house just as they had neglected to visit their father. When they showed up at the house the neighbors were suprised Old Man Winters even had kids.

    The was a left over bagel on the counter and a half drinken glass of orange juice. the refrigerator door was still open and the cream cheese for the bagel sat on the edge of the shelf in the refrigerator.

    The was a smudge of lipstick on his collar. He saw it in thre rear view mirror as he pulled into the garage. No time to change shirts. No time to clean it. The quickest thing was to take the shirt off and try to get in without being noticed.
