    Signed. Sealed. Delivered. I’m Yours?
Why would you have to sign for a person? That’s ridiculous.
And exactly what are you sealing me into? That sounds painful.
Why would I be delivered? I’ve already been through delivery once. It wasn’t that grand. The doctor spanked me.
Technically, I am not yours. I belong to myself.
    So take that, song…[Read more]

What would I have done if my left hand was my dominant hand? Think about it. Everything that you do is dependent on that simple genetic code. All those little, monotonous daily things you do would be different. […]

Help! I need somebody! Help! Not just anybody! Help! You know I need someone! Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp! This song is so true with my situation today. I’m far too short to try to staple things to that bulletin board. […]

The only kind of flood I can think of right now is a flood of raging anger. Damn that final. Damn it to heck. Oh that reminds me of my new saying. Do you know how many dams there are in the world? Do you know how many I give right now? Not a single […]

My record is pure and clean. It is without blemish. Well, mostly without blemish. There are a few blemish-like scratches in my record. Nothing that would cause a needle to skip though. So I figure that, as long as my music is fairly smooth, that’s good enough for me.

I wiped my eyes on my sleeve. Disappointment raged through me. Of course. It would happen this way. Sucky McSuckerville. That’s where I live right now.

I can’t stand the pulsing in my temple. it’s driving me insane. bonkers. bananas. all I wish for is a little bit of peace. A piece of peace. To start in my temple and rampage it’s way through to my soul. Or something like that.

Did you know that most people who receive patents for inventions didn’t invent the thing themself? Nope. They built it after something that someone else designed. It’s like that saying “I stand on the shoulders of giants.”

  • Teri commented on the post, dull 7 years, 9 months ago

Dull as dishwater. Why on earth do we say that? How dull is dishwater? If you happen to be washing knives, the dish water can be quite sharp and dangerous. I don’t think I’m going to say this anymore. I’m going to say “Dull as pre-election presidential debates.”

I can’t stand to hear the sounds. It’s not the images or my actions that haunt me most. It’s the sounds. They are harrowing. The sounds of warfare fill my ears whenever any silence falls upon them. It’s incessant.

I would never be in extemporaneous speaking. It’s the worst speech category ever. Ever! Don’t ask me if I would want to be in foreign or domestic! Domestic sucks. So does foreign. I’d be much happier doing extemp reading. Like a good girl.
