    Shimmering through the blinds stripes
    The silvers of light shivered
    Quivering slightly in awe of

    Something.
    A grand something
    A something few have seen
Much let admired through its obscure grandeur

    Pines.

as table overstuffed as the table seemed,
so indeed did the two gentlemen.
Plopped, devoid of any apparent life
on each side of the table,
waiting for nature to free them from the bonds formed.
    Sloth through exertion.
    Rest after cleansing.

through the dark, dim trees a terror lurked.
through the dimly lit, calm waters of the lake lay the abode of a truly hideous monster.
Through the woods and down the path lay the alcoholic campground host,
ready to spring, more concerned about his own well-being than those whose money pays his paycheck

    click.
    click.
    click.
the sound of the revolving wheel resounded around the empty room, booming with each revolution. The sound seemed to emanate and pulsate from the large stone blocks.

“I dont understand this is the same prompt as yesterday!”
    he cried out
“I thought this would change! I was prepared for change!” he slumped pathetically in his chair, gasping for air like a beached fish, gasping…

    gasping…

    no change came.

    Stunned, I looked around frantically.
“Can this be truly happening?!” I cried out desperately.
“This cannot be the end!” I tried to look ahead, my wet hair flowing my my face, obstruction vision.

The creature stood there, between the trees, but a silhouette against the dark trees canopy.

Throughout the flaming heat and the scorching dry air, a single lone survivor stands as a worshipper of satan with her hands in the air, signs fiercely displaying her rebellion to the world of the followers of christ. Her ideals stand staunch and erect against the churches jaded sway. The cactus stands, openly displaying her […]

flowing. flowing. Flowing like dust in the wind, flowing lie the softest garment you can think of, cascading over a beautiful womans slender waist. The soft skin accented over the white light as the heavily white light flows over her skin. “Cut! Cut!” a large plump man waddled from behind the camera as the model […]

    Here he comes,
    the anywhere man.
    There they stare,
    for in his eyes lie
    you, me,
    and the lands between,
    the anywhere man.

There was a soft creaking sound as the surrounding room began to lose its vibrance.
the lights and colours that had been so vivid before began to fade into the ever increasing darkness,
threatening to drag the evidence along with it.

    Soon, there was nothing.

No proof. No evidence. No movement, No life.

The soft sound of the endless sheets of papers hitting the printer signals the end of a journey. Each paper must endure the many stages of industrial printing, and thus there must be some sort of bond, right? To leave the hive, and venture out on their own. Something like that anyway. Go! Flyers! Go […]

The endless hill were framed by the seemingly daunting trees, as they converged with the deep blue sky and the burning sun. Not to say the trees were scary, but on the edge of the plain, they were an odd sight indeed. Seemingly painted onto the endless plain.

With a blinding flash the darkness of the world lifted and the senses were enlightened. Seeing as we had never seen before. The darkness lifted and the sounds returned. Things never seen before suddenly were there plain as the eye could see. the curse had lifted. Crackling of leaves as never seen before, the wrinkling […]

“Hey! come up here, look at this!” the no longer young boy was standing at the top of the hill, looking down on the playground that lay before him, with a distant grin lighting up his face. “remember when i fell off the monkey bars, and we had to explain to you what a broken […]

“Quick? Over here! look under the chest.” The short, fat man looked around in the squalor before wildly whispering back. “I cant see you! there too much everywhere. where are you?” “I cant see you either. just follow my voic…” the sentence was ended more punctually then should have been humanly possible, embellished with a […]

Reclining to take a quick sip of his tart port, the short, roundish man kicked his feet up to take a quick nap. A quick bout of “shut-eye” as he put it. Little did he know that the place of great things that he had so long wished to behold no longer existed. The world […]

The boat flew along at a steady clip. clip. clip.

The sounds of the passengers below deck losing their lunch faded in and out of the sound of the sailors working for theirs. clip. clip. clip.

The sails fill with the wind, and the ship sails on. clip. clip.

“here, take it. Its all your gunna get for days.” I handed him my canteen, filled to the brim with the delicious water. Water that we needed so badly to survive this prolonged trek through the endless desert that was so vital to wining this war. For us americans, we are all that was left.. […]

    “GO! GO!”
The towering man stood, pitchfork in one hand, flame in the other. He waved to the darkness, and the endless mob weaved seamlessly around him, toward the darkened barn. The noise was deafening, and a scream was barely audible as the inhabitants realized their peril.

    To see was to endure
    in the barren plains.
No one knew anymore than the next, and yet somehow there was life.
    a weed among the rocks.
    a scuttle among the dead,
    empty wasteland.
