The entrees were delicious. I could not believe I had managed to cook the meat perfectly, and for all these people! It had been a wonderful party.

1 pre-bough crosaint, 1 slice of american kraft cheese. 20 seconds in the microwave.
Rosie saw it on a TV show, only with an open fire.
    “Mm, Mommy, they’re delicious!”
Her smile lights up my day.

“Spiky!” She exclaimed, pointing at it.

I stuck my hand inside my daughter’s bucket of sand that she’d brought home from the beach. “Ouch!” I exclaimed, pulled my hand out. A crab had clamped its claws on my finger!

“Jesus. Look at those blue eyes. She’s gonna have us all wrapped around her tiny little finger.”

I grinned. “She already has me. She’s my little princess.”

I was panicing. Going to prom together was a horrible idea, absolutely horrible. But when she opened the door, and I saw her in her beautiful gown…I knew in my heart whatever we did would be perfect, as long as we were together.

The view wasn’t clear, through the glass wall separating me from my newborn twins. Alex and Juliet, they had been born several weeks early and needed intensive care.
