    Can one just be satisfied with the size of one’s house, the size of their car; the size of their pocketbook or brain. The size of the heart is what holds significance, and I do not even know if mine is growing.

    I have nothing to cook right now. That is why I am going to the store today. The rain makes it hard, and my mind is in no state to be doing mundane tasks, since I still have plenty of work to do for school. All in good time.

    I think he values only himself. There is no real reason he would call or text me back after so long. I don’t know what he means by “You have won.” Won what. Nightmares. Heartbreak. An unstable mentality? Well thanks. But I don’t want that kind of trophy, especially from him.

    Local markets in town always made me feel happy. Whether I’m in my hometown or out for college, I always seem to be drawn to places with fresh produce. People share there livelihoods and each item sold has a story: the blood, sweat, and tears of many.
