People make claims all the time. Most of the time they can back them up, but what really annoys me is when people cannot. Especially when they are grand claims. My philosophy professor claims that there is an ultimate morality and that ethics are essentially set in stone. Those are some grand claims, but has he given us any evidence? Nope.

Visits are beautiful. Whether it is family, friends, or a significant other, visiting people is healthy and wonderful. They bring back emotions left in the past which may be positive or negative, but definitely good. Visiting is good for the heart.

The framework of the universe lies in physics. Nothing would be the same without basic newtonian mechanics, electricity, fluid dynamics, etc. Physics is my favorite subject and studying this framework of the […]

The quest for the holy grail. The quest for life. The quest for purpose.

Whatever your quest, you live in pursuit of that quest and your life is not complete until you accomplish your goal. For some, it is to […]

Oh man, I love being romantic. When I asked my girlfriend to prom, I took her to this very nice restaurant and gave her a single rose to ask her. It was really romantic in my opinion. Romance in general is […]

    Hallowed be thy name.

    All hallows eve.

    Unhallowed.

The dim moonlight entrances me. It calls me forth, yet I have not the strength to move. In stasis, I rot away and dream. Dream of forgotten years, dream […]

  • Matt commented on the post, balloons 7 years, 5 months ago

It’s my girlfriend’s birthday on sunday. At my school we can get balloons for people on their birthdays so I think I might just get her an obscene amount of balloons. She hates balloons, but its the thought that counts right?

  • Matt commented on the post, poster 7 years, 5 months ago

I put up posters once. A lot of them around my school. I was running for senior class president and I put up around 50 or so posters around the school and two banners. I put a lot of effort into that campaign. I […]

I dont think guys should have earrings. Maybe its just the social deviant in me against the “cool thing” right now, but whatever it is, earrings on guys are not girl. But for girls, they have the potential to look […]

Ooh, heartache. Heartaches can be caused physically as well as emotionally. But mainly emotionally. People with whom you share your heart have the most power to cause heartache, but when one shares their heart, […]

  • Matt commented on the post, ruby 7 years, 6 months ago

This word reminds me of mines and mining rubies and emeralds and sapphires. That brings me to the memory of Pokemon. I loved Pokemon when I was younger. As nerdy as this is, I put over 100 hours into one save file […]

Straight outta compton!!! Down in the hood!!! I apologize, “hood” brings to mind all of that “gangsta rap” I’ve heard of. It reminds me Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 2pac, etc..

This word immediately reminds me of “Catcher in the Rye.” Ironically, I’ve never read this book.
I used to play baseball, never was I catcher, because I thought that position tedious and boring. I think I was […]

People have no fixed state of consciousness. Humans are every changing beings and are never static. Being dynamic is intrinsic to humanity. In a state such as ours, there is no “fixed”

  • Matt commented on the post, ratings 7 years, 7 months ago

Ratings make or break someone. Especially performers. I used to be a performer. I played piano avidly, and some guitar on the side. I cared about my ratings as I had a fairly consistent “superior” rating streak. […]
