    Bach’s cello suite # 1 haunted the lobby. It flowed across marbled floors and wrapped around the ornate columns by the reception desk.

    If imagination is our constant companion, from birth to the long strides of life, what then happens when this companion leaves us? What is left when imagination is gone? Do we blink, in the hazy moments of awakening and realize that the notions of make believe were, in reality, the foolish gestures of children?

    He thought he knew heartache. He though he knew the emaciating ache of loss and longing for what would make one complete. A longing that would make the gaps within and make him realize that all was well and the world exists for righteousness.

    But, yesterday, when we were young, we thought that the fallen were instead the fallen might of giants Who’s splendor was what kept nightmares at bay and stood as stoic reminders of how to make the make-believe and dreams a reality.
