    So often the past seems much more attractive than the world we live in today. More peace, simpler, pleasant. Until we are reminded of all the wars, racism, hate, poverty, and misery our ancestors endured. Then the past seems must more like a dream, neutral, neither all good nor all bad. It simply is.

    Did I mention that I am leaving? I have left several meals in the freezer. Simply heat them up in the oven on 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Don’t cry, dear. I should be back soon. Make sure to take warm baths, and don’t forget your gloves in the morning. I love you.

    Sitting at a ballet recital trying to take a picture without the flash on. What’s the art, the image or the dance?
    Kindergarten class when coloring outside the lines was acceptable.
