You forgot something. I didn’t say anything. What? There’s something you need to know. What did you say? I don’t know what I was meant to tell them. There’s a little thing you missed.

So you want to make it big? You’re taking all these chances, wanting something, being eager to get it. Whatever it is, don’t give up. Being keen is part of being human. I promise you that, at least. Though, don’t […]

Changing, on or off. Moving. The flow of electricity surges through the wires, connected and disconnected.

  • Emily commented on the post, architecture 7 years, 3 months ago

I used to want to be an architect. It was an interest of mine. I know the man who designed and directed the building of the Petronas towers. Pretty impressive architecture right? I thought so. Really inspired me […]

I have this problem, it’s a dilemma. What’s going on? Who can help? I have no idea. What is the issue here? There’s got to be something we can do. Let’s solve the problem, the dilemma. Maybe we’ll see the light at […]

  • Emily commented on the post, orbit 7 years, 7 months ago

The moon orbits the earth, the earth orbits the sun. Around and around, spinning too. That gives us days and the moon gives us months and our orbit around the sun takes a year. 365.25 days exactly – but we make […]

Somewhere the sun is shining, whether it’s day where you are or night. The sight of ships across the horizon, then disappearing, over the edge of the world. Amazing right?

  • Emily commented on the post, destruction 8 years ago

Broken, falling apart. Bombs. Detonation. Mines. Burning. Logging. So many things cause destruction.

I keep a tiny compact umbrella in my bag just in case the weather does decide to rain, I honestly can’t see any British summers without rain! My current umbrella is decorated with blue and white stripes and little red hearts :)

What is this? It’s the antidote for the poison you just drank. Oh.. *drinks*
Wait. What’s this? It’s the antidote for the poison you just drank. Oh…

    Thank you Brian Limmond.

  • Emily commented on the post, punishment 8 years, 1 month ago

People who do wrong in the eyes of the law and community deserve to be brought to justice with punishment. Sometimes it’s unfair.

  • Emily commented on the post, discovery 8 years, 1 month ago

What are you looking for? Perhaps you’ll find it here, or maybe nearby. Somewhere, you’ll stumble upon it and make an amazing discovery. Maybe it’s within yourself or within somebody else. Keep looking, don’t give up. Maybe it’ll find you.

  • Emily commented on the post, canvas 8 years, 1 month ago

A blank canvas, where to start? There’s space for everything and anything. Layers of emotion hiding behind a masked exterior – like the Mona Lisa. Secrets under what you may see.

  • Emily commented on the post, bulb 8 years, 1 month ago

There’s different shapes, sizes and colours – just like with people. They run on a complete circuit and they pop when the fuse burns out. It’s a sign of a brilliant idea and a light to guide you in the dark. Perhaps you could plant one and have daffodils for years to come.

  • Emily commented on the post, root 8 years, 1 month ago

There is a root to all evil. The bottom-most feeling. Searching for food and water. Hunger pangs. Hair. Square roots. Your home or where you feel most at home.

  • Emily commented on the post, wings 8 years, 1 month ago

I wish I could fly, if only I had wings. It would be truly magical to see the world from the view of a bird – high in the sky, feeling the wind through your hair. Insects have fragile wings, maybe we were born with wings but they were fragile too and we lost them […]

  • Emily commented on the post, step 8 years, 1 month ago

Take one or two at a time. One foot infront of the other or behind, or to the side – which way do you want to go? Move in time to the beat of music. Exercise step. Dance step. Walk step. Lots of steps. Rise and fall. Which do you want to do?

  • Emily commented on the post, thunder 8 years, 2 months ago

There’s always thunder after lightning. Light travels faster than sound – fact. It seems as though the sky hasn’t eaten and has a rumbly tummy. So loud and quite intimidating sometimes to us, tiny little people.

  • Emily commented on the post, megaphone 8 years, 2 months ago

So some people can hear what you’re saying closeby, but you’re not loud enough to preach to a crowd – use a megaphone. This is the perfect solution to your problem of informing lots of people about something important!

The ability to follow, be polite, and conform to the expectations of ones society. Socially, physically and emotionally. Physique and posture as well as gestures and the way of spoken word.
