  3. I’m married to a wonderful man who helps me accomplish my goals. The father of our children he never lacks for love. He is the consummate “family man”. But I know he keeps his secrets. We’ve been together far too long for me not to know about her and her hold on him. Even when she pushes him away, keeps at a distance, the pain he feels is obvious. No, he never lacks for love save for a small exception to the rule.

  8. How poignant, to be confronted with the most fitting word to describe a lack thereof. Like quicksand, I fall into its comfort and I am drowned by grain. I seek to practice good habits but I fall into the same old habits. I know to be mindfull, I must gather up the courage. I know I must be courageous to ever have my mind full of wisdom. I may lack current confidence but I will combat this with a soft calm as I welcome the swallowing sands.

  9. I really don’t think I feel as lacking as I used to. I don’t lack a sense of humor, or a family unit, or any kind of beauty. Sure, my work ethic might need some work but I don’t lack a sense of purpose or drive like I used to. It’s an incredible feeling and honestly something I haven’t felt in a really long time.

  11. Lacking in judgment is something some people do and others don’t. If you do not lack in judgment then you can very easily judge a book by it’s cover, if you do lack in judgment then you can fall for a clever ruse, But if you are just in between (you don’t judge harshly but you still judge) you might be able to have very agreeable opinions of people.

He always kept something to talk about in his back pocket because awkward silences were, well, he couldn’t think about what would happen if he allowed silence in, and anyway talking brought people closer to him and kept the people who didn’t care about him far away, so he didn’t see any harm in keeping the conversation going and going…

  21. Everyone likes to tell me that I’m brave, and frankly, I’m wondering if they’re just talking to the wrong person. I lack courage, kind of like how a desert lacks water, or space lacks oxygen. I just don’t see myself as heroic or bold or daring at all. In truth, I’d rather just hide away from the world, holding in the folds of book pages and pretending that I don’t exist.
