  3. wow my head is killing me, and i really like this girl and it is scaring me to death. I just hate being scared and feeling all of these emotions. today is going to be a long long day.   4. ” Oy, the vapors ! ” She almost chokes every time Kevin belches. This usually happens after they eat at the taco truck on Rose Ave. Four hours later and every time he belches, it smells like putrid albondigas, absolutely dee-scusting , and she’s thinking of spending the night alone: anything is better than making out with a belcher.

  10. There was a fragrent vapor around me, soft and inviting and ominous, all at once. In the semi-darkness I felt it as much as saw it, damp against my skin. What was it? Why was it calling to me? How was that even possible? I felt confused and light-headed when I looked up and saw a stunningly beautiful man standing in the doorway, smiling. I knew I was in trouble.

  11. The motorcycle rattled to a stop, and she had hardly taken off her helmet before she was grabbling tools out of the sidecar. A vapor rose from the stagnant water in front of her. She assembled the tubes, hung the contraption over the pool, and sucked in as much of the vapor as she could.

    I hate this part of the job, she thought. But what she harvested today, would be on the secret shelves of pubs around the world in a month—changing lives, influencing decisions—and all because of a sulfurous, horrid-smelling gas collected only in the swamps.

  13. I remember reading books where the ladies many years ago used to get a touch of the vapors! not sure what that really meant. Of course there is always vapour as in steam etc. Vaporise, disappear.

  14. Water vapor is the mist you get over boiling water, the thing that condenses on glass, leaving it steamy, or if frozen, iced. You could also be vaporized, everything in your being turning to atoms and becoming non-existent. Lovely, huh?
