  1. Sometimes I get in the zone. What is the zone? It’s somewhere where I can actually think. So it’s really the thinking zone. Or is it the zone of thinking that I’m thinking? No, it’s the focus zone. Because sometimes I’m so far in the zone that I don’t think. I focus. I do. I am in the zone.

  2. the part of the area for yourself, everyone has one and is important to know where it is in order to find peace in this life.

  3. It was quiet, it was almost eerie. It was the danger zone, that damned place out of boundaries for everyone but the military. I wasn’t quite sure of how I had gotten there, but one thing I knew damn right… I was scared, and I wanted to get away as soon as I could. Gnawing my bottom lip anxiously, I slowly crept towards the one passage that could probably lead somewhere in that deserted wasteland.

  5. Then when I think things have settled, the dust finally landed on the ground and I can clearly see where I am going, the world shakes with the rumble of the jet engines of fate. Stepping over the line, crossing that zone of nothingness in the air where you feel empty freefall. When I thought I understood you, just when I thought you cared, there is nothing but fire and fumes and flight making me nauseous and lost in the expanse of all that could be that I cannot touch. Tearing my heart out a mach three, where you cannot hear me cry.

  6. i was in the zone that day. i miss playing basketball. it was such an amazing experience and i wish i still did. 14 points for a fifth grader was by far a record, and had i pursued it in highschool, maybe i would’ve gone pro. but then i wouldnt be where i am today. i wouldnt have matt, or the majority of my friends (who ive been ignoring) so being in the zone doesnt seem to matter

  7. so i really didnt know what word it would be. But here it is. Zone. zone makes me think of many things. theres this one song. Its called The Zone and it always makes me kind of sleepy for some reason. People refer to the zone as in there focus place where they do their best. Zone. Its a cool word i must admit. I wonder who made up this magnificent word. Like people say “let me get in my zone”. Or maybe your in the wrong zone. Like parking maybe. I dont know what this is. Im sorry. I dont even really like the word zone. But i guess ill try to make it work. I need to get into the zone about typing about “zone”. I just cant. I feel under pressure.

  9. I’m in the zone, well I’d like to be but there is 10 minutes to go till I get lunch. The zone I’d describe as being that excited that you can’t really do much. So pumped about the task that it consumes you. HAHA Consumes, I am hungry.. Well off we go. STEAK!!

    By Adam on 08.15.2012

  12. I will be leaving soon. Leaving my beloved home. The farm, my family, even the cats that I loathe. I mourn, yet I rejoice. Could this new phase of life be called a “zone”? Or must I be “in the zone” to enter into this new phase? How shall I cope? I am terrified and I already feel alone. But I will survive. I will thrive. Because God is my Savior and when I am weak, He makes me strong.

  15. There is a zone in the world where many people are lost, hopeless, and terribly alone. This zone, the longitude and latitude 20, 40 is the most unreached by Christians in the world. These people have no hope, of salvation without the prayer and outreach of missionaries. This is why it is so important that we, as privileged people reach into this untouched realm and use our influence to touch these people.

  26. It was rotten luck, really, but in the end, it wasn’t my fault that things turned out the way they did.
“Are you sure?” he demanded for about the hundredth time that evening.
I wanted to tell him that I had never been surer about anything in my life, but instead I settled on, “Yeah.” I had learned over time that less complicated things were often better instead of any number of alternatives.
I bleakly gestured with tired arms to the narrow rows of houses surrounding us. What I said next was quiet, and in the stillness I swear I saw the houses lean forward to catch my tired, fateful words. “This is the demolition zone.”
A shudder ran through the houses.

  29. The word zone for some reason reminds me of our ozone (oxygen zone) layer. The ozone is something that protects our planet – just like God does. Our sins are destroying it but as soon as He returns it will be fully restored for those that choose Him.

  30. He’s taking me to the Interrogation Zone. No, he isn’t going to interrogate me, there is just some people he would like to know if I know, some he said that they had found shortly after acquiring me. Quickly, Jason explains that he had been friends with Katie, Brook, Eric, and I before he came here. To Tulsa, Oklahoma. To this war zone. Afterwards, he had been forced to lose contact with us. He tells me that he also is one of the Appointed.
But like everything else in my life, I do not remember what the Appointed is, neither do I remember having any part of it.
Jason eyes me wearily, and I can see it in his eyes. He’s wondering how I could have forgotten something, something so…
He pushes the Interrogation Zone’s doors open. Entering through the swinging doors, I barely take a glance at the four people with their hands tied, eyes behind cloths. “I…”
Jason’s eyes are wide, “I know them.”

  34. I never knew this door actually opened. It was a whim sixteen years in the making. My adolescent self wondered (for a brief moment) how the heck my parents managed to keep my curious mind from even noticing this door. But the rush of adrenaline overpowered any analytic sense I could muster…

  37. Keep to your zone. You need to stay over there. I don’t want you in my zone, because it is mine. Yours is yours, so stay to it! Mine is filled with things that I love, and I love it just the way it is. You don’t like my zone? Well shoot, guess what, I don’t care. I like it and that’s enough for me. I hope you like your zone, but it doesn’t sound like you do because you’re trying to get into mine.
