  20. Back in middle school all we did was collect baseball cards. Trades were the best part of collecting. “I’ll give you a Dave Winfield and a Bert campeneris for a Dodgers team card.” That was always the toughest to get, the Dodgers team card. They must have only made 5 of them, I swear. When you got the Dodger team card, you could name your price. And a high price generally wasn’t a superstar playerl; it was a rare card–a Duane Kieper, a number four checklist, or heaven help you, a second dodgers team card.

  21. trade my lunch at school sometimes. Its fun, but i lose some good stuff sometimes. Like, you might have a chocolate cookie, and trade it for a rice krispies treat, and the kid takes the cookie and eats it and then gives you the wrapper of the treat. It sucks.

  23. He smells like soup and looks like an ass, but I grit my teeth and shake his hand anyway. I know the bastard has Ben here, somewhere buried in this decrepit mansion. He wants Alyssa. He can have her. That’s all I have to tell him, the only reason they sent me. Because I’m supposed to be able to keep my cool under pressure…

There is no other way it could be.

    I want what you have,
You can not trade lives with me.

Cleaver little minds we were… trading our unfavourable sandwich, for a tasty treat. Trading our toys, for something new to play with.

  37. Just a taste.
    A quick sample
    of the goods.
    Anything
    for you.

    Kiss your neck.
    Light it up.
    Light you up.
