  2. With my emotions torched, they ignite into a blistering fire. I can transport them wherever I travel and everyone will see the smoke billowing from my hands as I hold all my hopes and dreams higher and higher into the sky. All my wishes contained in one little cup on fire. One little torch.

  5. No, I’m not writing about a torch, because torches only make me think of two things. RP games, and being a caveman. So no thank you, I’d prefer not to step back into the dark ages on some romantic notion of man’s relationship with fire. U R DUM,

Man as he first created fire, waving his torch in triumph. Stone hallways that echo footsteps as flickering light casts shadows on the walls

  7. I torched it. The whole thing. I brought my gasoline. I brought my lighter (the red bic I always carried on our dates to the park)

    I burnt it to the ground, to ash, because I can’t stand the thought of you keeping memories of me alive. I won’t entertain that thought anymore, not now. Arson helps me sleep at night.

  9. Torch? Well, it’s a stick.. with fire on it.. That’s all it is really.. I once threatened a guy saying I would torch his eyebrows off if he touched me one more time.. and he did.. so I.. well.. I didn’t torch his eyebrows.. I killed his ear buds. :)

    You curl up in our blankets on my front deck, pulling the torch to your lips, putting the flame close to the pipe in your mouth. Feelings of euphoria and contentment come.
    Lips touch, inhale, exhale.

  13. the torch was wax, made of wax, perfect except the way it touched you as I placed it against your skin. hello there, darling, remember the way the fire feels when it burns you, and the way you liked it and the way it meant everything to you when I dripped candle wax on your skin because you loved the scent. we lit candles at night to keep us alive

  20. I brought my torch up to light the ceiling of the room. It was quiet…and of course, I had no idea where I was.
    Really…what was this ball of fire doing here anyways? I didn’t like playing with it…things like that are frighteningly dangerous.
    It was like that time when they burned down my village. And then…he brought me here.

  25. torches are used to burn things. you use torches in the olympics. you also use torches when you are rioting against kings and queens in the medieval days. torches can be scary and they are also really hot. they catch things on fire and burn them down.

  26. I once went camping by a river and I used a torch to light up my surroundings. That torch lit up not only the camping site but the night sky. The torch was beautiful. I loved the torch.

  28. Ah, how fire terrifies. Its all-consuming nature. Unstoppable when it makes its mind up. I’ve watched it burn through towns. Without a thought.

She was barely sixteen and had no idea what a real witch was but somehow she found herself being accused of aiding a witch and that gave her a one way ticket to the burning infernos of the stake. They would torch her and her mother for witchcraft yet as she witnessed her mothers burning she suddenly felt the words flowing from her mouth, nothing that could be heard over the cheering of the crowd and the painful screams of her mother but suddenly it began to thunder and lightning was striking all the buildings till the whole town was set ablaze. She had torched the town and just about everyone inside it. Including everyone who had done her and her mother wrong, they had all died in that fire but somehow she had survived, unscathed.

  37. there was a torch at the party i was at on Saturday. some stupid idiot decided to pick it up and play with it then all the gasoline spilled all over them and they were afraid they were going to explode. that reminded me of a t.v. show i saw once it was about exploding cars.it was really cool. then exploding cars reminded me of what car i wanted when i was old enough. i really want a big one so i have a lot of space even though im a very tiny person. i have a huge personality though!

  40. the torch burned brightly in the noonday sun. It wasn’t really needed during the day, but the heat it brought was welcome. Pluto was very cold, even when the sun was directly overhead. It was during one of its dominant days, with Charon revolving around it.
